We are a full service kitchen & bathroom renovation specialist, able to handle all aspects of your renovation.
We are very familiar in working with lathe and plaster, knob and tube , and galvinized and lead pipes. As well, we are able to maintain the integrity of an old home while updating it to modern standards.

They arrived on time, did a fantastic job creative, very functional and amazing tiling, and it cost us exactly what they quoted. “John and Domenic and the rest of the Avonlea crew were exceptional. Very professional and got the job done fast and did a great job. Our kitchen and bathroom look amazing. THe granite countertops and custom cabinets are amazing, and our bathroom looks fantastic. We have recommended John to numerous friends (actually, that is how we heard about him), so obviously Avonlea is doing a great job by getting so many people referring them to their friends!”

Avonlea is Top-Notch
“We are more than pleased with the professionalism, trustworthiness, passion, knowledge, & quality of work with both our renovations. My husband & I both have extremely high expectations and Avonlea delivered on all fronts: - the jobsite was kept very clean & tidy with all tools & materials piled neatly in one corner of the house/room; quite frankly, at the end of the day, when we returned home, you wouldn't even have known they were in the house at all. - the crew was very polite and friendly - the jobs were well thought out and on-time; the only hold-ups were on our part not Avonlea's (making decisions on finishings, waiting for backorders to arrive, etc.). - the renos. came in on budget (except when we added to the project list!) - although we engaged a designer at the getgo, we scrapped those design plans after speaking with Avonlea about the 2 projects and started from scratch given Avonlea had a lot of design sensibility of their own and since there were so many intricacies with the projects - the financials were kept in excellent order and we had a running tally at all times from Avonlea of what the project was costing We have since referred Avonlea to 4 separate parties who are doing kitchen renovations and we will continue to recommend them.”

Avonlea is awesome!
“We had our whole main floor renovated, including moving plumbing, new electrical, hardwood flooring and new kitchen. Avonlea handled it all. Their quote was accurate and very reasonable. The work was done quickly and on time. John and Domenic are very professional and helpful - they tell it as it is, and won't give you any "stories" to win your business. They are both honest, friendly and available. They are willing to share any ideas they have for the renovation, but are also totally willing to listen and use your ideas. Their crew works diligently and quickly. When they leave your house at the end of the day, it is neat and tidy - totally livable! The other suppliers they work with (cabinet-maker, granite/stone company, etc) were also fantastic and very helpful. I would highly recommend them for any home renovation. I am a repeat customer, as they renovated our basement about 3 years ago, and it was an equally positive experience.”

Avonlea did a fantastic job ronovating our kitchen
“John, Dominic, Olympio, Jason and the Avonlea Crew, did an excellent job on our kitchen. We just got through our first Thanksgiving dinner cooked in the new kitchen and we continue to be more impressed all the time. Our house is a typical Beaches home with ‘character’ (i.e. age and space challenges). We were amazed how well they worked with the constraints we had to create so much space and build a stunning kitchen that functions beautifully. We were impressed with their professionalism and patience in answering all of our many questions and for offering practical advice about our options along the way. Best of all, they were on-time and on-budget. We were new to the world of home renovations before this, and a little sceptical, (too much TV maybe). Avonlea has made believers out of us and everyone who sees our kitchen. We reccommend Avonlea to anyone interested in using their services and look forward to working with them again in the future. Avonlea know what they're doing
“Everything was done well, the workmen are very knowledgeable and courteous and professional, and the owners are straight-up, no-BS types. Price-wise, they are not cheap but certainly reasonable and more than competative when compared to other reputable renovation companies. They came in about 10 to 20 thousand cheaper than the other quotes we got to completely gut and redo the second-floor bathroom and the third-floor master ensuite in our 70-year-old Leslieville home. When we reno our kitchen and basement in a few years I will certainly use them again.”

Avonlea is fantastic!
“John Miles and Dominic of Avonlea are consummate professionals and offer fantastic turn-key service in all of their work. Avonlea completely remodeled almost the entire first floor of our house (an old semi-detached in the beaches), including a complete custom kitchen. The works was always exactly on time, to budget, and of high quality. As other reviewers have posted, they leave the work site very clean every day and are always happy to answer questions along the way. This was our first house (and first reno) for my wife and I, and John appreciated that and always took the time to explain the process to us as we worked through the project. I'm looking to get my bathroom remodeled by them next year.”

“Avonlea renovated one bathroom and added a second to our 70 year old East York semi and did such a good job we hired them two years later to do our kitchen. John was up front and honest about everything. The workers were courteous, on time and cleaned up at the end of every day. Every question, idea or concern is raised before work continues. There were no surprises and we were able to upgrade our home with the same quality and craftsmanship that went into it when it was built.”

Avonlea was great!
“Avonlea performed a complete renovation on the upstairs bathroom in our 90 year old home. John and his group did a great job from the quote through to the completion. The guys were at the jobsite pretty much early each day and kept it clean and tidy. We ran into a couple problems which weren't in the original quote (some old galvanized lines and support beams that were cut through in previous reno's) and they correct the problems for a very reasonable cost. All and all top notch job. Bathroom is wonderful and works perfectly!”
