Skylight Repair We found the people at Belvedere very professional to deal with. Their estimate was reasonable. They always showed up on time. Did a good job and did not leave any residue behind. Definitely a positive experience for us.

Complete interior and exterior home renovation. Belvedere Home Improvement has completed three major renovation projects on our home. 1: A complete interior renovation: removing walls, new kitchen and bathroom, updates to our plumbing and electrical systems, carpentry and more. 2.A new roof system. 3. An extensive exterior clean up. They waterproofed a significant protion of our foundation, regraded the ground slope, repaired our eavestroughs and finished the project area with interlocking stone. Whenever an issue arrises or we would like to make an improvement to our home, Belvedere is who we call. Their staff are knowledgable, friendly and pleasant to work with. They bring in the required tradespeople and take care of all of the details. They are fairly priced and their work has been excellent. We are very appreciative of everything that they have done to help us. We will continue to call Belvedere in the future for all of our home improvement needs. We highly recommend them!

Belvedere Premier General Contract for Residential Work

25 years of vairous projects! Belvedere has been my general contractor for about 25 years. Over the years they've completely replaced my roof, tiled my floors, replaced glass paneling in my solarium, and built decks. They've also done painting. They've replaced all of our casement for our windows and doors. The quality is superb. They work is certainly guaranteed. They have a unique capability with brick work, being able to match the color of the new brick to the old brick so that you would never know it was repaired. They are very honest people.

Belvedere Does What They Say They Will Do.

Multiple Projects over a Dozen Years They replaced our roof. They did drainage work. I'm thinking of getting them to do more work on the outside of the house in the spring. When I have a question, Charlie is always very responsive. I would not hesitate to refer them to family and friends.

Belvedere the Good

Belvedere Has Been Doing Work For Us For 15 years! The first project was weeping tiles around the house and building a shed attached to the back of the house. After that they did a couple of bathroom renovations upstairs for us. Then they built us a bathroom in our basement. The replaced our basement floor. Most recently they have have replaced the blanks around the fron of the house. They've also extended our back patio. Their efficient. Their clean. Their accommodating. They keep their word. We have referred them to friends and neighbors. We will definately use them again.

Plumbing I had a plumbing issue in my old bathroom and I called in Belvedere to fix it. They were a bit late, but the service and price was well worth it.

Belvedere - an adventure in pain

Driveway / Retaining Wall Project Originally quoted as a 6-8 week project it took almost 12 months before they fully completed the job.

Workmanship is poor - I have had to do minor repairs on several aspects of the work they did.

Communication was terrible. Several times I had to call them after long periods with no one showing up at the job.

I had heard lots of good things about them so not sure what happened but our experience was not a good one at all!

This is an addition to the previous story that Belvedere responded to. For the record both the stucco on the garage front and the spackling on the driveway curbs cracked during the first winter and Belvedere did not repair anything. The stucco cracking was quite severe and was an eye sore at the front of the house. MANY of the interlocking stones used for the stairs up to the house had to be re-glued. The doorway from the garage into the house was not hung level and therefore you need to play with it to get it to lock. If this is their idea of quality workmanship then i think my rating is justified.

They did put pictures on their website which they took right after it was complete, it shows the near dead sod they put down as part of that job. Quality to the last detail for sure. Why not go back and take pictures now so people can see the cracked stucco and cracked spackling on the curbs?

Note: in their response back to my original comments even they acknowledge that i had to keep calling them for updates. Whether it was the city or not our supposed project manager never called us or gave us any indication of what was going on. We had to keep calling them. As no one would show up for days or even weeks without explanation.

As you can see many others are happy with Belvedere's work i only caution to let them do simple jobs, this one in my opinion was way over their head and the workmanship was definitely POOR. My biggest surprise was that they did nothing to rectify the situation and NEVER offered to fix things that were already breaking before the job was fully complete.
