    Casa Loma Masonry

    Casa Loma answered our call of distress when we uncovered a particularly alarming series of cracks in the concrete supporting our swimming pool. They made time from other projects to not only repair our situation but to vastly improve the presentation of our pool. We will be forever grateful for their insight and diligence. Not only did they do an incredible reconstruction for us but we feel we have found genuine friends going forward. We would gladly recommend them for any project as they only do superior work and communicate on their progress on a daily basis. Experts in their field.

    Front porch ; window sills; foundation repair

    It was nice experience with this company, staffs extremely friendly and they pushed my project ahead of time than my expected. The project was done beautiful and details. I would strong recommend this company.

    Beware: they do not stand behind their warranty

    Casa Loma did a good job creating a retaining wall. However within 7 months of their 1 year warranty their wall was already beginning to crumble and not stand up to the elements. The coping at the top of the wall can be lifted off and the cement seams between the coping was already breaking down and crumbling. They became loose and could be lifted with one finger. When contacted regarding these issues their reply was that I had salt put in my flower bed retaining wall? They did not meet to discuss and did not follow up on their work. The Dad built this company but it appears the son is not able to continue his legacy with the same quality and customer service.

    We strongly advised against continuing the use of salt applications in your winter snow removal program for your clinic. It is rather surprising that you chose to post a misleading review, attempting to misinform the well-informed Google community with misguided information, nearly four years after the completion of this project. Furthermore, there is visible evidence of salt residue throughout the flower box area, appearing as white powder. The flower box spans a length of 40 ft and a width of 4 ft, prominently positioned as the focal point of your clinic. It is located just inches away from the city sidewalk and the two driveways providing access to the parking lot. Our company was contracted by your contractor to address the extensive salt damage that had severely impacted the structure, including the damaged staircase and various brickwork around the building. We provided recommendations for numerous salt-resistant products that could have served as viable solutions. However, we strongly advised against the use of salt for winter snow removal, as it would compromise the adherence of mortar to some of the installed products, which could not be avoided. This would have been the only way to ensure any long-term solutions. It appears that you disregarded our advice, knowingly jeopardizing any warranties associated with this project.

    Exterior brick repair

    Had crumbling exterior bricks at lower level that needed attention. Professional company and responsive. A few others on my street used Casa Loma for masonry work so was comfortable using them. Great dealing with Paolo, Louisa, and team. Paolo performed the initial quote and gave flexible options. The team doing the job was knowledgeable and checked in with me periodically while they were doing the job to ensure I was happy since I was home.

    Chimney Repair

    We just had our chimney repaired. The bricks in top were crumbling and had to be replaced. They were matched perfectly and the job was done in a timely manner. Pauolo the owner was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional and personable I would definitely recommend this company.

    So disappointed

    Giving the parging and brick replacement work to CasaLoma is the most regretful thing I have ever done. The quality of the work were so disappointed. The parging have several cracks after half year, the mortar already fell off after a winter and the color was outstanding. After contact the office, first he said that is not an issue, then no responses for the followup calls. The warrity was writen in the contract, but there is no garantee at all from my experience. Besides, he gave the work to a subcontract who only came to work between 5-7pm.

    Parging and Landscaping

    Fantastic company Casa Loma Masonry was to deal with, prompt, professional and very nice every step of the way. The best part is my place looks great!! I will be using them again for sure! highly recommend!!!

    Masonry Work on Front Steps

    Paolo and his team were fabulous. I was impressed with the quality of the work and the communication by them. We are pleased with the stone work and I have to add that his office manager, Louisa, is extremely helpful and made the process easy. They were also helpful in dealing with our condo corp.'s demanding approvals process. Highly recommend!

    The Whole Works (new patio, walkway, front entrance, bricks replacement, tuck pointing, parging)

    Paolo is a fantastic owner/foreman/consultative salesmen all roll into one. From the first engagement to the last, I have nothing but praise for him and his business. The house was built in 1987 and my family has owned the house as 2nd owners since 1996. We haven't had any outdoor work done to the house since the day we purchased aside from yard work. My fiance and I are now entrusted with this house and we decided to make it our own. We had brick damage to the back of the house, bricks damaged to the front of the house and decided to redo the walkway, front steps and backyard patio stone. From all the Masonry that I contacted, they were the quickest to respond and most professional in terms of determining the undertaking of the job. The price wasn't cheap but we were given assurance of the quality finish. We were even asked after handing the deposit to go to their supplier to look at the Techno Bloc Blu 60 and Blu 80 in person. The crew came and started the job exactly when Paolo said they are available to come. Although the job took more time to complete than initially estimated, it was at no additional cost. Casa Loma Masonry is very fair with their customers and try to do all they can to satisfy their customers. I am glad to provide them the business and will recommend them to anyone else in the Greater Toronto Area.

    Landscaping

    The Casa Loma Team did a stellar job of landscaping at my property. Paolo is skilled, knowledgeable and experienced in this space, and the Masons are very skilled and delivered a high quality of workmanship that you don't see a lot of anymore. They worked efficiently from start to finish. We are very happy with the results. The new landscaping has added an extra level of character to our house. It makes us happy each time we pull into the driveway and see its appeal each time. This is our second time using Casa Loma Masonry, and we'll definitely use them again.
