That punctuality continued into the job showing up on time and finishing the project when the stated they would complete the task. Their recomendations for colour for the house was perfect. Painting I highly recommend using Decorator’s Choice no matter how big or small the job. I have used them several times over the past few years. Iris, Ed and staff were all amazing. They are very professional, trustworthy, and stay within time and budgetary restraints. I had some color ideas, but only for a few rooms. Iris was able to come up with a color scheme that tied the whole house together. She was able to come up with solutions to some difficult decorating situations. Ed is meticulous. I am very fussy about work done on my house, and he always surpasses my expectations. His drywall repairs and painting are second to none. I can’t express enough how amazing a job he and his crew did on sanding down my banisters and fireplace, and then putting on a beautiful stain and high gloss finish. If you are looking for something a little different, try some of the faux finishes that they offer. People always comment on how fantastic the faux finishes are in my house. You can’t go wrong by choosing Decorator’s Choice, especially if it’s a difficult job that no one else wants to tackle.

Paint interior of home “Your place looks like a model home now” pretty much sums up the feedback we got from friends and family over the holidays after Decorator’s Choice had painted our home. We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail that Ed delivered, and the price was unbeatable. We found Decorator’s Choice on HomeStars.com. We met with four of the site’s top-rated painters, and although all were professional and seemed knowledgeable, Ed from Decorator’s Choice was our painter of choice...and here’s why:
1) He was generous in educating us on the entire process, from wall prep (which was 80% of the work for him) to paint type, quality and colour. This was just during our quote – we hadn’t even hired him yet!
2) He inspected our recently repaired walls and explained that he would be re-doing all the repairs to a professional standard before prepping for paint. Our builder had come in and “fixed” the nail pops, cracks, etc. from the house settling, and we were left with huge uneven white patches all over the house, plus discoloured caulking along the trim.
3) His quote (including the detailed prep) was significantly more affordable than his competitors’ quotes.
4) He was so down-to-earth and courteous…and he actually listened to us when we explained what we wanted. He even guaranteed that he would do a test wall of the colours we chose and if we didn’t like anything, he would redo it.
5) He did the work. He came in with another professional and courteous painter and together, they did all the work in an ordered and timely manner.
