My name is Terry Cord and I founded DrainWorks in 1995. I'm content to let our customers do most of the talking for us, but there are a few things I would like you to know about the way we conduct business, since we operate differently than most plumbing and drain cleaning companies and contractors in our industry.
To start with, we employ full-time salaried plumbers. I truly believe that our salaried employees do a better job focusing at fixing a customer's problem properly and saving them money. That's because they aren't motivated by how much commission they can make by selling you more services. I'm proud to say that 95% of my employees have been with me for more than 5 years of service, which is testament to the way we conduct ourselves as a company and a great reason why our customers take comfort in dealing with us and trusting we will be there in the long run.
DrainWorks promises to give you a set appointment time and that we will be there on time. We understand how valuable your time is to you and we keep our promises, because our word and reputation are just as important to us. Our approach is straightforward: Have highly skilled employees who always respect your time, money and property.
Our plan seems to be working. DrainWorks has been named the winner of the Consumer's Choice Award in the category of Drain Service Excellence, in the GTA, for the past eight years in a row as determined by Canada's largest marketing and polling company - Leger Marketing. I'm proud to say we are the only company with this honour.

DrainWorks was fast, efficient, and highly professional“Root damage from a city tree to old clay drainage pipes caused backup in my basement. DrainWorks assessed the problem, provided a number of options, and by the next day had replaced the old pipes and facilitated the inspection and paperwork for reimbursement from the city. Mike and Eric from DrainWorks were cordial, knowledgeable and highly professional, and DrainWorks admin staff were a pleasure to deal with. The excavation crew was clean and efficient and caused no damage or displacement to my or my neighbour's property. They also organised the City permits and began the processing for a grant. left are a clean with no damage to plants around work area.” |

Extremely professional and efficient!“After months of drain backups and several service calls by other companies who merely routered the drains and offered half-hearted explanations of the cause, I finally lucked out by calling Drain Works. Armando Gatti and his hardworking team immediately determined the problem (root infiltration) and replaced the entire drainage system inside and outside of my house in two days. Armando was extremely professional and made a horrible (and expensive!) situation far easier to deal with. I highly recommend this company!” |

Vote for Armando“My first house and my first drain problem. A friend refered me to Drainworks and Armando showed up to inspect the problem the same day. I was extremely pleased with the speed and service. Armando showed me exactly what was wrong and how to fix it in easy-to-understand terms, without pressuring me to do any unnecessary work. He had a crew out the next morning, and my problem was completely fixed that afternoon. I would highly recommend Drainworks, and you should ask for Armando.” |

Fast, efficient, and reasonably priced“I was very impressed with the service from DrainWorks right from the beginning. They quickly found the issue, recommended the fix with a quote, and were ready to do the work right away. The price for all work was lower than any plumber I used before. I had another plumber quote the work involved earlier and they wanted to do twice as much work for 4 times the price. All workers were polite and explained each step. And they left the place spotless. The inspection after by Lou was very thorough and again all was explained. I will definitely use DrainWorks for all plumbing needs in the future.” |

Professional and excellent service“I was extremely pleased with the service provided by DrainWorks. I was having water backing up through the basement drains when doing laundry. William was polite and helpful on the phone to set up an appointment within a few hours. Mike D arrived on time and diagnosed the problem as requiring a replacement of the trap and breather. He explained the problem to me and what would be involved in the work. The next morning 3 men arrived on time to do the excavation and work. They worked diligently and were very professional - informed me when I could and could not use water, and replaced dirt to flat level. Jeremy H arrived as scheduled a few days later to conduct the inspection. He was very thorough and clearly explained to me what he was doing and any recommended follow-up work. Although it was an expensive job, I felt comfortable with the service received for the cost I paid.” |
