horrible customer service - respond
“the games at this store are sometimes cheaper than other game stores. they have many old school games which is good for collectors. the main problem with the store is that the employees there are not very friendly or helpful. this store is only good if you know which game you actually want to buy. the employees do not help you at all. ”

Good selection, not so good service. - respond
“Gamerama, like most privately owned stores has it's ups and downs. The ups being, they have a massive back catalog of last-gen games and hardware still in stock, which can be very useful. And often I could only find some new items in stock at their store (Rock Band, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Collectors Edition). Also, they have been known on occasion to break street date, so you can get that must-have game a bit sooner than anyone else. The downside being, whenever the manager/owner isn't there, most of the employees are the cocky know-it-all gamer types, who spend a large chunk of their time playing games at the back, chatting with their friends who seemingly hang out at the store all day, or while when helping a customer, heaping their personal bias as to what system they should buy (even if it isn't the best fit for said person). So, while I wouldn't recommend the store as a place my family members should go to make purchases, it's definitely a good resource for a gamer who knows their stuff and doesn't put up with the opinionated BS from the employees (who can have less gaming knowledge than their customers). Don't let me scare you off though, for anyone the store should be checked out at least once, if for nothing else than a great inventory and lots of deals. Or of course, if you enjoy smacking down some 18-22 year old gamer who thinks he has "seen it all".”

Gamerama is AWESOME. - respond
“Staff are informative and very good to chat with. As for NOT accepting open returns can't blame them since its against copyright law. BUT they allow you to buy a used game and give you a two week window to test it out, if you dont like it, use your store credit for something else.”

Worst Gaming Store in The City! - respond
“I simply don't know how to describe this dreadful company. The store itself is cluttered, which makes it hard to shop. The prices for used games are too high, and many things are NEVER available! I traded in systems, as well as games, to get store credit towards a Nintendo WII. I was put on a waiting list in early October, and promised one BEFORE the new year. I have called the store numerous times to ask about it, and everyone that answered was rude, not friendly or helpful at ALL. At times out of anger i asked to speak with the manager or owner, and I was either ignored, or even hung up on!! That is unacceptable!! I got a WII off Ebay, which I am pleased with. However, I am left with a large amount of store credit. I decided to go get some games and what not. They never have anything available. They say sometime next week every time. I can't express how terrible this store is. Stay far away!!!”

Great - respond
“Great store, very friendly, I really feel at home at gamerama... it used to have great prices, but it really made a name for itself so now the best deal you could get is like $3 below retail... half the time it's cheaper at EB of Futureshop, but at least the guys at gamerama are really informative.”

Bad Return Policy - respond
“I would strongly recommend not buying any new PC Games from this store. They are overpriced and having been a customer of this store for a long period of time I was told that I would not be given a refund or store credit after purchasing a new PC game and returning with it the next day. The game is Scarface which was $58.99 with five dollars of for Boxing Day. It bought it because I received a $50 gift certificate for this store and they had nothing that specifically interested me. The game was the worst produced first person I had seen for a recent game (Poor Graphics and lousy control interface”. I felt comfortable buying it because I was sure that they would at least give me store credit if I didn’t like it. Not so. A minimum requirement for me to shop anywhere is a consumer friendly return policy. I would say that I have spent a few hundred dollars in this store over the last few years. NOT A PENNY MORE. NO THANKS GAMERAMA. ”

Whazza - respond
“It is okay. There prices are average but what I really like is how they sell used, good quality games. I am happy with the atmosphere but they spend too much time on the phone and too little time (sometimes) with the customer.”
