Jeff got the job done right
“Jeff came and jacked up my porch, which was leaning due to a poorly constructed pier. We didn't really know what to expect under there, so Jeff gave me a range of prices to expect for the work. Thankfully, Jeff ensured that it was a small job that came in at the lower end of his range. They did the work quickly, efficiently and left the place clean afterwards. He even fixed up my downspout for me. Overall, I was very happy with the job and the service I received.”

“We wanted to do a really big/difficult basement reno, and did a lot of research on who to use. Well, lets just say we picked right. Before the reno, we had water problems, structural problems, and the basement was, in places only 5ft tall, on a really old semi-detached home in downtown. Jeff was able to open up the basement, moving out beams, fixing water problems, underpinning, etc. and on top of all that deal with the architects, inspectors, and engineers (ours and our neighbour's!), who all gave the workmanship their highest praise. Well, that's the structural part, but what about the finishing? My wife has what you would call 'very good taste' and the workmanship on the finishing touches was even able to make her happy... wainscoting, bordered panels, etc - I am truly impressed. They were also able to keep me happy too, with quite the home theater room (built in runnable wiring, component cabinets, subwoofer closet...). We were skeptical at first, but J. Roberts and Assoc. says they will work within your budget, and they mean it. They were able to keep everything inline. It allowed us to get some extras (like a beautiful gas fireplace they built in). If you are looking for something upscale, done right and honestly, but need the assurance of costs staying under control and getting top value, I would look no further. Last but not least, it is great to have found, in this business, a group you can trust to consistently deliver in a professional, courteous manner. Not just Jeff himself, but the way his whole team does business - cleaning up after themselves, being respectful of our privacy, made a big reno much more easy to live through! A big thanks Jeff and team!”

Renovation of main floor and new kitchen
“Jeff Roberts is a contractor that you can depend on. Honest, personable and dedicated. He is a perfectionist that won't stand for anything but the best from any sub-trade he brings in. He is takes a sincere personal interest in your needs and ideas. He reno'd our kitchen and mudroom (load bearing wall removed, patio doors installed, custom kitchen designed and installed). Jeff is now working on our next project for us, the basement. ”

“We had what we thought was a very risky project (an upper floor reno on an old semi-detached in tight quarters, downtown Toronto, with us out of the country for most of the time). Lots of potential for trouble, but J. Roberts and team took it all in stride and incredibly delivered on budget and on time. They were also very clean, minimizing disruptions to us, and very thoughtful in helping plan all the way through to the final touches. They made it easy. We ended up with a beautiful AND functional upper floor (completely new bathroom, beautiful new wood flooring, paint, repairs...). Perhaps the biggest compliment to Jeff is how many repeat customers he has. We will definitely become one of them.”

First class work by first class people!
“This project covered it all! From structural work to finishing carpentry from original 1920's rooms to starting from scratch from bedrooms through to bathrooms, foyer, den, sunroom, and a 15x40 grand room. From stone tiles, to hardwood refinishing, to matching wood paneling from the 20's. When you tackle a project like this you need someone that knows what they are doing. When you tackle any project in your home you want people who take pride in their work. Jeff Roberts and his crew provided both in spades. Anytime you start ripping apart an old home you don't know what to expect. We found our share of challenges, but not a single one stumped Jeff. He has a great balance of skill, experience, creativity, and... patience. On top of his ability to get the job done is the thing I admired most about Jeff and his crew.... they care! They are the kind of people you are happy to have in your home. Very respectful and very honest. If there ever was a problem (with a subcontractor or a piece of work that hadn't gone as planned) Jeff was very fair in dealing with the situation. The best thing about our next renovation is that we won't have to worry about selecting the right contractor. Without question, I would hire Jeff for any project of any size.”

“Over the years Jeff Roberts & Associates has done a number of major rennovations and home improvments for me including new kitchen, back deck, sun room and granny suite. I was completely satisfied with each project (the repeat business says a lot!). Probably the best feature of the company is its reliability - everything from initial planning and estimates to the final product was finished without any surprises and with very high quality and workmanship. I was also impressed with the quality people that the company uses. Highly recommended.”

He is everything you would look for in a contractor
“As first time home-owners we were excited about doing some renovations, but skeptical of contractors. Jeffrey turned out better than we had expected. While we were away on vacation he removed a supporting wall between the kitchen and dining room, re-routed the vent in the wall, put in new flooring, and did some electrical repairs. He emailed us with his progress and even sent us photos. When we came back we were "wowed" with the work he had done. Not only is he professional, informative, and detail-oriented, but he is also passionate about his work and cares for his clients. We will definitely be calling him again soon to do more home renovations.”
