unprofessional and sloppy - respond
“I am not really qualified to judge how well the furnace is installed; it seems to work well. But the installers were sloppy, the venting was messy, the house reeked of cigarette smoke when they were done... they did not finish the entire job and I had to badger them to get them to return. To their credit, they eventually did come finish the job, but frankly they could have been a lot more professional.”

“This was a BIG JOB ~ removal of old oil burning octopus furnace and oil tank ~ installation of new gas furance, chimney liner and complete duct work. Metropolitan Heating not only provided the best price out of 7 quotes, but the job was complete in less than two days. The crew was on time, professional and very knowledgable about their products. I will be calling them again in the spring to install central air conditiong. Thanks for your excellent work!!”

“Upon arriving the installer brought the wrong size a/c unit. He brought a 2 ton instead of 1.5 ton. I knew this because I checked the model numbers on the manufacturers web site ahead of time. The installer than tried to convince me that the 2 ton was better anyways. This is not true. My house needed a 1.5 ton. I then saw that a styrofoam base was going to be used instead of a cement base for putting the air conditioner on. The installer had to go back to retrieve both of these items after told him. He wasn't able to caulk the hole in my house where the piping runs becaues he didn't have caulking. He said he would return in a couple of days to do it since he was going to be in the area. He never returned so I did it myself.”
