Fast, efficient service - respond
“Excellent service--not often that a tradesman is actually a day early, is it? But that's exactly what happened, I had Open Sesame booked for a Friday morning appointment to fix a new garage door that had been poorly installed. They called me at 6pm the night before and told me they were not far from my neighbourhood, could they actually come over for a look? I was actually on my way out but they arrived just as I was leaving. I got home that night to find the door was working better than it ever had--instead of 3 people needed to lift it, I could raise the door with one finger--and a reasonable bill left behind. Definitely recommended!”

Great Service, Great result - respond
“Our garage door was coming off its tracks so I called Open Sesame. I was worried because I had been gouged by a previous garage door repair guy. After Steve looked over our garage door he told us it just needed a minor service job which he would do for $75 plus parts (a few wheels). He adjusted the spring and alignment, showed me how to do my own annual maintenance and gave me free lube to do it! He never tried to "up sell" me on additional services. And, in the end, he charged me less than what he originally quoted. He was prompt, quick, polite, and knowledgeable. Thanks Steve! ”

“My garage door had seen better days... I called Open Sesame based on the reviews on this site, and I was not disappointed. Steve came on a Monday to provide an estimate, and I gave him the go ahead on Tuesday.. and the garage door was installed on Wednesday... Absolutely love it!”

“Steve and his assistant not only replaced the bottom panel of my garage door that was rotten at a very good price, but also fixed my garage door cable as well as my garage wall sconce for no extra charge. Steve was courteous and patient in answering all my questions and provided professional advice on proper garage maintenance. They came back after installation to make a small cosmetic adjustment, which at first I thought they might not. They really restored my faith in excellent workmanship and good customer services by a small company with integrity, after my prior negative experiences with other contractors.”

“We were delighted with their honesty and service. They arrived thinking after being told by us that we needed a new opener. After a couple of minutes, he figured out that the existing one just needed adjusting - and that is what they did. At our request, they ended up servicing fully both of our garage door openers, installing a new key pads and two door switches and fixing our remotes - all for less than half the price of the new one installed. Then he tells me the work is guaranteed for a year! Now that is incredible service and honesty!”

“Very Great Help! She was very timely, in the sense that she came out within 2 hours after my garage door crashed! Replaced the rods and serviced it for free. Recommend it. She used to work for Home Depot- now runs her own company.”

“The service was unparalleled- in a moment of despair and frustration, open sesame fixed and renovated my garage door system, at a fraction of the cost of other major companies that are advertised in those flyers. Their service was great - he' s a real pro!. He even showed us how to operate and maintain the system, and offered his help should we have any questions or problems. It has been more than two years, and it still runs like a gem! I considered posting this positive review to show that kindness and professionalism is rewarded- rather that discontent homeowners with shoddy renovations. Cheers!”
