If I Had To Do It Again.... I WOULDN'T

“Updated: May 5th, 2008 - Mr. Joe Ricupero has stated that he is currently working with me to resolve this issue. I don't know what Joe Ricupero's definition of resolve is, but I think subitting an invoice to them over a year ago and getting 2 cheques that bounced from him and to date have still not received any payment.... the only thing I have received is continual broken promises..... I don't feel this is Mr. Ricupero practicing fair business. All I get is stalling and more stalling and one excuse after another. He makes promises of coming by the next day to give me the money and he doesn't show up or even call to say that he is not coming. I think having to wait for over a year to "resolve" this is truly unacceptable..... Think Twice People.... This is not the first time he has done this either from what I'm currently seeing circulating the net. Update: March 31st, 2008 - The saga continues. They never finished the job. Had to bring in another tradesman to finish the job. RRS agreed to pay me over and above anythign that was left on our existing agreement. Submitted the invoice to them in the amount of $1,800.00 back in March, 2007... yeah you heard me right... 2007. Anyhow.... After many promises and dealing with the BBB and 2 bounced cheques from RRS Contracting they still owe me the money. It is now March 31st, 2008 and am still waiting for them to honour their promises but it looks like legal action is the only way that this company will ever pay for what they've done wrong..... Will keep you posted as things develop. Posted: September, 2006 - If you are planning on hiring this company to do any type of work for you I would suggest you think again. Not only were they unable to do the job in a reasonable time the quality of work that was performed was absolutely aweful. 6 to 7 months later the job was never completed and I was told by them to find my own tradesman to finish off the job. In doing so, every tradesman that came to my house advised that the job performed is irreparable and now I'm placed in a difficult possion where most of the work needs to be redone cause it was never done correctly in the first place. We are still in the midst of negotiations, but they've basically taken 3/4 of the money and have me in a worse position than I was in before they started the job..... so folks...... please think twice before contracting with RRS Contracting. Also note that they say they are registered with certain organizations and in fact they are not. I've place a claim with the Better Business Bureau ...... Just a word of warning. Save yourself the stress and aggrivation that I am going throught currently.”
