    AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

We spent almost $2000 buying lamps from the above store. We had to wait for the last two lights to arrive. When my husband opened the box, he found the wires had been cut. He contacted the Lighting Warehouse and Ken kept putting us off, promising to contact ELK the company who had sent the lights. Guess what? We never heard what they were going to do for us. They didn't even bother to give us back our money or fix the lamp. My husband had to rewire it. What if the person hadn't been as knowledgeable as my husband? DON'T SHOP HERE if you expect good service. It's not going to happen ever.

    New Kitchen Lighting

First thing I had noticed was that they had a huge selection to offer. Their sales staff were not only friendly and welcoming, but also seemed to be very knowledgeable in everything related to lighting. She knew the products very well and gave professional advice. They are very well stocked and I was able to bring home my new purchases on the same day. Highly recommended.

They were very helpful when I went in to purchase the ceiling fan and made sure that I was happy with my purchase by following up. I would use them again!

    Crystal Pendant Lighting

This company had a massive selection. I ended up being able to purchase real crystal lights for the same price as regular glass pendant lights at another location. When you walk in to this store it is a little overwhelming as there is so much to chose from but it is nice that they have the lighting (for the most part) separated into style themes throughout the store. One recommendation would have been for them to advertise that they have further options by looking through a catalogue, I did not find this out until we had asked. There were brands I tended to gravitate to so it was nice to be able to view the catalogue for the entire product line.

    lighting for whole house

A friend of mine recommended the lighting warehouse to me because she said they would have everything I needed. She was right. The store has so many lights that it would be nearly impossible not to find something suitable. With that being said, it was a little overwhelming. There are almost too many choices. So, if you are a person who has difficulty making decisions, it may take a while at this store. lol. But if you're a person that likes to have many choices, then this store is perfect. Unlike other stores that only have a few lights on display and the rest you need to look online or in a catalogue, this store has them all on display.

    Purchase of new chandelier

I was in the process of redecorating my foyer and I was looking for a statement chandelier for my entranceway. The selection at this store can be quite overwhelming so I think that it's best to come here only after you've gone through some catalogues and have an idea of what you are looking for. I brought photos of types of chandeliers I was interested in and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dining room lighting & task lighting

Subby and his staff are very accommodating, especially when we had to revisit the height of our new ceiling fixture. He even came to our house to correct the project.

    Bought a Bathroom Mirror

I bought a bathroom mirror from this company. Before check out, I asked the sales rep. that if I am not satisfied with the product, can I return it. She said no problem! Drove back home, my husband and I carefully put the mirror upright in our Garage. Couple of days later, my contractor came to install the mirror. He opened the package and found there are some damages around the frame. So I decided to return it. But when I brought the mirror back, the manager insisted that we damaged the mirror no matter what I say. He even talked to my contractor trying to blame him for damaging the mirror! My contractor didn't even move it an inch! To settle this matter, he charged me $40 for damage to take the mirror back. My complain is not about the $40, but the way he treats his customers like they are totally dishonest people!

    Answer from pro:

"Regarding Chantel in Surrey and a bathroom mirror purchased from us. This mirror was purchased from our display and carefully inspected for damage by our salesperson prior to the mirror being wrapped. It was properly wrapped and carefully put into the customers vehicle. It was unfortunate after this that the mirror was badly damaged but we cannot be responsible for damage done to an item once it leaves our store. This lady did not understand this, but accused us of giving her a damaged mirror which we would not ever do. Also, we did not try to blame her contractor for damaging the mirror as we tried also to explain to him that the mirror was not damaged when it left our store. We felt bad for this ladies problem and tried to help her by taking the badly damaged mirror back. It will take hours of work to repair the mirror to its original condition, the $40.00 hardly covers the time and materials it will take to do so. We felt we treated her very fairly, as we never accused her or her contractor of damaging the mirror; however, it was damaged after it left the store."
