    Gas fireplace repair

    My fireplace stopped working. A repair person came and cleaned it for $300. I wasn't home, my spouse was, but the person didn't actually address the problem of the fireplace, which was that the gas did not come out. Yes it worked when he left. But one day later it didn't work again. When I phoned to complain, the response was basically, "too bad for you, you have an old fireplace." Not good customer service, and I don't recommend this company.

    Annual Cleaning of gas fireplaces and split air conditioners

    Great work ethic. Fast detailed and exemplary clean up for gas insert fireplaces 2 and 2 split Jim air conditioners. So pleased.

    Great experience with Toronto Home Comfort

    From the moment we walked into the showroom we knew we were in good hands. Heli was professional and knowledgable and guided us through the selection design and installation process. The installation crew was courteous and efficient and our Urbana fireplace looks fantastic. Thank you Toronto Home Comfort for a great experience.

    People who really care

    Thank you so much to Ramin who very kindly visited our home to start our gas fireplace on his day off! He was so courteous and professional and explained everything . Thanks also to Cheryl who was so reassuring and helpful on the phone. These people really care! Very honest and I highly recommend Toronto Home Comfort!

    Services

    We have had 2 service calls from Toronto Home Comfort this past year. Our air conditioner unit stopped working in the summer. A different company said it was a simple problem and told us to purchase and replace a part. The part was very difficult to find and didn't solve the problem and we didn't get reimbursed. Toronto Home Comfort was much more thorough, did multiple tests and finally discovered the source of the issue was a hidden, but exposed part of the electrical line that had been chewed on by a squirrel. That kind of discovery took tenacity and problem solving skills. More recently, our gas fireplace wasn't working. Toronto Home Comfort came quickly and again solved the problem. Great work.

    Great service

    Booked a regular cleaning and two people arrived. A little late due to previous appointment overrun but extremely friendly and apologetic. Did excellent job and very careful with surroundings. Provided recommendations and I was extremely satisfied. Will continue to use this company and hopefully I will get the same personnel

    air conditioner

    a very -very good company

    We decided to totally rebuild one of our two fireplaces--and alter the second fireplace.(converting them to gas ) Toronto Home Comfort did a masterful job on both fireplaces. People who have seen them agree. DO NOT CHOOSE ANYBODY ELSE---Their DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION WAS PERFECT. Howat Noble

    FIREPLACE PURCHASE AND INSTALL

    Toronto Home Comfort's service and product installation was excellent. We are very pleased with our Recency fireplace and the service we received from both the installation technicians and Toronto Home Comfort's representatives. We would highly recommend this company.

    Gas Fireplace Insert

    We ordered a Valor fireplace from Toronto Home Comfort. The technicians who came to install it drilled through our hardwood floor by accident. Then, only after the fireplace was in place, they told us they don't have the front panel for it. Right after that they asked us to pay in full despite the damage and the missing piece. Communication with the technicians was challenging and they tried to dismiss the damage to our floor as insignificant. In the follow-up, we've had difficulty getting the company to respond to our calls. They say the front panel is on back order now but the timeline is unclear. We hope this will be resolved very quickly. We'll keep calling.
