Yale Town Sofa CRIME - respond
 

Nest chair On August 20, 2008, Wednesday, Yale Town Sofa Scheduled a Delivery at 4- 6 pm, I was waiting and waiting and no one pick up the phone and ignore my messages. One of their employees called me back at 6pm and said they have a truck problem and cannot deliver the sofa to me, and has to be rescheduled.

On September 9, 2008 Tuesday, Promise to deliver Sofa, but they call and said the truck has problem again.

On September 16, 2008 Tuesday, the sofa was scheduled to come at 4-6 , they call me at 3:00 pm and said they couldn’t make it because they don’t have the keys of the truck and promised to deliver on Wednesday.

On September 17, 2008, Wednesday, They said they will deliver my sofa at around 5 :25, they sh never pick up my call and not returning it. They ended up not showing up again!

On September 19, 2008 Friday, their excuse from not picking up the phone is they were very busy. This time they said the truck driver has taken my sofa to his home from their truck.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL - respond
 

WHERE ARE MY CHAIRS ? IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS SINCE ME AND MY PARTNERED BOUGHT A TABLE AND FOUR CHAIRS, WE DID GET THE TABLE BUT INSTEAD OF THE ORIGINAL CHAIRS WE GOT SOME LOANERS, SINCE THE FIRST WEEK ( IN MAY) THEY SAID THEY HAD THE CHAIRS AND THAT WE ONLY HAD TO WAIT FOR A WEEK TO GET THEM, WELL... IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS AND STILL NO CHAIRS, I CALL EVERYWHERE AND NOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT, I EVEN CALL A LADY IN CHARGE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE...ANNETE IS HER NAME, I TALKED TO HER ABOUT THE SITUATION AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD CALL ME THE VERY NEXT DAY..GUESS WHAT? IT'S BEEN ALMOS 3 WEEKS AND STILL NO ANSWER AND WHEN I CALL HER THE VOICE MAIL IS FULL. I GUESS I'M GONNA HAVE TO GET USED TO THE IDEA OF KEEPING THE LOANER WHICH BY THE WAY DON'T MATCH IN COULOR, TWO BROWN AND TWO BLACK, CAN I BE MORE SCREWED ? I DON'T THINK SO. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THERE AGAIN, IT IS JUST CRAZY !

Yaletown sofa is bankrupt - respond
 

sofa, chair, ottoman The reason why the previous reviewer hasn't received their furniture is because they are bankrupt.

After buying furniture in June 2008, we were told at the end of July that it was almost complete and would be delivered soon. 4 weeks later (now) after having calls not returned and being told the same thing over and over again (it was almost ready, any day now) we went to the store to find it locked up. We weren't told the truth, but told maybe there was a problem with the fabric. After refusing to leave without either a delivery date or a full refund, we were told that the accounts were all frozen and the factories weren't releasing furniture orders to them anymore.

Now we are out $3000 and I guess have to deal with the bankruptcy courts or our credit card company.

DO NOT order anything from YALETOWN SOFA - respond
 

Couch and Chairs I ordered a sofa and two chairs and was told it would take 5-6 weeks. I was fine with this. Of course, when I called on the 6th week, I was told by a different salesperson that it actually takes 6-8 weeks. Um, I see. SO, I go to the store, which is near my work, to see if it is ready by week 8. Yet another salesperson is there, who phones the store and tells me it will be delivered here next week - joy!- and we can arrange delivery a few days later.

Week 9 - No calls, so I phone the store and get yet another salesperson who informs me that yes, the furniture has almost arrived and she will call me back to arrange delivery.

Week 10 -STILL NO RESPONSE.

Bottom line? I am fine with waiting 10 weeks for furniture, but when I am told four different stories from three different people, it gets a little ridiculous.

I will NEVER shop here again and would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

The customer service stops as soon as you pay for your furniture, so don't bother expecting any help with finding out its whereabouts when it takes over 10 weeks to deliver.

Quality is not #1 - respond
 

Sectional Sofa I ordered a sectional on July 28, 2007 and after several attempts at delivery, it finally arrived September 22. Unfortunately, the size was wrong and there were several quality issues. I called my salesman that very moment and when he visited to view the furniture, he agreed it was not what was ordered and there were several quality concerns. The sofa was finally reordered about 3 weeks later and to date (November 6, 2007) I am still waiting to get my correct furniture.

bought furniture It was very easy to deal with Brian as he was open to help. I needed furniture fast and he managed to find me everything I wanted within the time required.
