Do yourself a favour - DO NOT repeat DO NOT deal with this company. From the totally incompetent salesperson, to the sewers, to the installer - this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Find another place to buy curtains!

Absolutely the worst retail experience of my life. They don't stand behind their products or installation. I have been unable to get any satisfaction from this company. Buyer beware - they make sure that they have all your money prior to installation and then refuse to make it right.

Beware Arlene's billing policies when you pay by credit card. If they are making drapes for you, they will ask for 50% up front and tell you that the balance is due at installation. However, READ THE FINE PRINT carefully. What they will actually do is access your credit card and take the balance when the fabric arrives at their shop and before installation. (Yes, it's in their contract which you will sign when you place your order.) This means you will pay 100% before you even have a chance to check that they provided the fabric you requested or that installation is done properly. The BBB says this policy of taking payment before the job is completed is rare and unacceptable. However, they can do nothing if you signed Arlene's contract. My advice: Negotiate with Arlene's before you sign anything. Cross out and have them initial the clause that says they can take full payment before the job is completed. If they won't agree, go elsewhere. There's nothing special about this company.

I wanted a fresh look for our windows and bed. The consultant was timely in getting back to my initial consultation request. She had samples and ideas for what suited my place. Upon delivery, the install guy was excellent.

I went to Arlene's to look for fabric to make curtains for my new home. I was met with an amazing salesperson that had great knowledge and patience in helping my co-ordinate my colors and choices. I would make this a go to for beginning your fabric search

Three years ago, we bought a new house and needed window treatments for 14 windows of various shapes and sizes. We were overwhelmed with the task before us. Arlene's consultant Timothy visited our house and gave us great advice on what styles of blinds and shades were available and what would look good in our home. He took all the measurements and did all the ordering. Arlene's professional installer mounted all the hardware and installed the blinds and shades perfectly. We could never have done this by ourselves and were happy with the results. Recently, when one of the blinds needed repairing, Tim helped us ship the blind back to the manufacturer and helped us reinstall it.

I had a dining room set that was over 30 years and of the highest quality so instead of throwing out the set I wanted to bring it back to life. I decided to get the 6 chairs reupholstered which including the chair seat and back as well as piping all around. It was a great idea. I picked out beautiful new fabrics and piping material and Arlene's had them completed in 3.5 weeks. They did an amazing job and the high quality carved walnut chairs now look contemporary. I would highly recommend Arelene's for reupholstering furniture and for fabric selection.

We purchased custom Silk draperies. The home consultant gave us good ideas, brought information to our home and helped us choose what would go with our decor. They gave us a quote, stuck with it delivered on-time and followed up to make sure we were satisfied.

Prompt/courteous services. They are always working to address concerns. Friendly staff- fun to work with.

Products are great, but service wasn't great. When said what I was looking for, she didn't share my enthusiasm - not attentive to my needs. However, younger employee was the opposite - friendly, helpful. Took multiple visits to get appropriate service. No ideas offered. Would shop here again.
