I was ripped off by the builder of my newish home. He only put insolation where an inspector would look and left at least 50% of my attic with little to no insolation. Our upper floor has always been much colder than the main. Metro came and promptly gave me a quote which was the best price I could find. 2 weeks later they arrived early and blew in lots of insolation. It took only an hour or so. They cleaned up after themselves and I immediately felt the difference. We went from R10 to R50. No more cold upstairs and the rest of the house is noticeably warmer with no more cold spots. I highly recommend Metro.

Start to finish, it was a great experience working with Metro Insulation. They were quick to provide a quotation, communicate well, and they completed the job quickly. In addition, they walked me through the BC Hydro rebate program and ensured I had everything needed to apply for it. Looking to upgrade the insulation in our house. Searched around on internet for contractors based close to me. Called around to get quotes. Metro Insulation responded within 24 hours to set up an appointment for a free estimate. Estimator was prompt for appointment and was very efficient in taking measurements. Quote was emailed to me within 24 hours. Was able to get scheduled for the next week. Workers showed up right on time, did their set up and were working within 15 minutes. After completing the work, they cleaned up and made sure everything was back in place and the area was tidy. They even cleaned up some debris that wasnt from their work (another contractor did some work and didnt clean everything up). They helped me get the BC Hydro rebate form filled out and filed. Top thing for us: 1. Easy to work with. Phone calls and emails were answered promptly and professionally. 2. Workers were clean and prepared to work. I didnt have to wait on them. The estimated time for the job was almost exact to the minute. 3. Answered my questions about BC rebate and helped with the forms. 4. No upselling or different quotes depending on frills. Straight forward in explanation and performance.

Aman from Metro Insulation inspected our attic, happily answered my concerns and questions regarding the job and possible rebates and then provided a written estimate. A few hours later Karn from Metro Insulation telephoned to ask if I had any further questions or concerns and what I thought of the estimate the estimate addressed my concerns (repair/add rafter vents etc as needed and top up the insulation to R-50) and the price was quite reasonable so I booked the job for the following week. On that day his crew arrived promptly and got right to work. The job took about 2.5 hours to complete, about 30 minutes to setup and repair vents and such and another 2 hours of blowing in Owens Corning Pink insulation, once that was finished the guys cleaned and vacuumed up any mess they made. In the meantime Karn emailed me the completed invoice needed for the rebate. All in all it the whole process went quite smoothly and I would definitely hire or recommend Metro Insulation again!
