new home design After 30 years in our house, we decided to begin the daunting task of building a smaller more compact retirement home. After a 'false start' with an architect, Rijus was recommended to us. As we had lost valuable time and our house was sold, Jason arranged to meet with us immediately and our house design project was finally off and running. After several meetings, emails and phone calls our house plans are now ready for the next stage. We were especially impressed with Jason's budget conscience recommendations for building and structural features that we would never think of. Jason explained all of the details thoroughly and incorporated changes immediately.(Love that computer program!) He also connected with our builder Peter at every step of the design process. Our builder was also impressed with Jason's expertise and the quality and detail of the final construction drawings. With the expert guidance and service of Rijus we are now ready to 'turn the sod' and build our retirement house at last. Thank you so much Rijus!

New Home design Jason's design of our new home was exactly what we wanted. It was easy to develop the design as he worked with us by email and person. He made changes as we began to visualize the house until we were satisfied. The work was profesional and our house beautiful as well as functional.

RIJUS was very patient!

First time builders - new home My husband and I decided to build a new home when we found a piece of property too good to pass up. We saw RIJUS' ad in the free paper we receive and called him up for a quote. We were very impressed with his quote. RIJUS was very patient with us as we changed our plans completely once, and we were quite often calling in minor additions/changes. Sometimes the quickness of callbacks was a bit slow, but overall we were very impressed with the timing, service, and additude of RIJUS. We would definitely suggest RIJUS to friends and family.

Rijus Home & Design worked wonders

Complete Make-over addition we had a old farm house near a river and it needed to be updated...new roof, gutted the existing and re-design, add on a new 2 car garage and breezeway, plus a 20x20 great room addition.
we werent sure how to go about it, how to make it look like an old rustic farm house and not like an addition was put on..and the guys at rijus home design figure it out. they did a great job.....it suits the property and the style of the existing home so good.
we are so happy and would totally reccomend these guys to anyone... they are great and affordable and their service was never lacking.

Rijus Home & Design - Perfect Choice!

Custom Home Plans Just over a year now...my wife & I begin the ever eventual task of building our new dream home. We first needed to find a custom home designer....after finding 3 total and discussing our wants over the phone - we felt most confident with the knowledge of the Rijus Home & Design and their price was nail on too.

During the design stage...they showed us many options...things we as non-building folk would of never even imagined. They helped us figure out what was important to have in our home and more importantly the things we could have without breaking our budget.

Their service was good.....all calls & emails returned.......they completed the job on time as promised...taking their guranteed 14 full business days to finish up the plans for approval by bldg. dept. once we were happy with the changes. My wife & I were very pleased about this...because we had our old house sold and needed to get these plans done a.s.a.p.

We had no issues with permits, and our builder who hadn't previously used Rijus was quite impressed with their plans and said the trades worked smoothly using them.
