Plumbers Direct

Update: the Plumbers Direct response suggesting that the customer requested the part number once we sourced it, and said if we would not provide it she would be writing a review is a complete fabrication. I asked for any information they could provide about the part name and job to justify the $400 bill, to which I was told that they do not supply any information to customers after the initial diagnostic visit. Their dishonest response to this review is yet another red flag about this company - take your business elsewhere.

Experience was positive to begin with: responsive, quick service. However the pricing was astronomical and there was a complete lack of transparency and professionalism around the pricing:
- call out and diagnostic: $150 - this I understand
- the part (a shower cartridge) and job, which took 20 minutes total: $300 - how is this an acceptable price for a 20min job? I understand that the part took time to source (I was told they had to email two suppliers, attaching photos, and that this took lots of time) all we wanted was some transparency around the cost - why $300 for a job that took 20 minutes total (including payment)? The unprofessionalism I was met with when I asked this question, including answers such as after a [$150] diagnostic visit we do not supply any information - your shower is dripping - to which I replied yes, thats why we called you, we were aware that the shower is dripping, we are not asking you what the problem is and what part is required to justify the $400+tax bill). This experience was hugely disappointing given the reviews we had read and will make us very hesitant to give follow-up business to this company. A hugely disappointing end after a positive start.

When I asked for clarity on the $300 cost, I was told that they couldnt give me any details on the cost of the part itself (and refused to provide the part name).

I called up plumbersdirect.ca and all I can say it was smooth sailing. I called around 2 and by 530 job all done. The guy who came in was professional and informative. Wish I can give more then 5 stars.

I emailed early morning and within an hour Joyce called and set up an appointment for me. She called back with an estimated quote and timeframe. They were at my home at the earliest time expected. Showed us what was causing our backup and quickly fixed it without extra charges. Also switched out a tap that had been broken for years. Amazing service, excellent staff who explained everything to us in detail before proceeding. Highly recommend Plumbers Direct.

I called Plumbers Direct with a somewhat urgent plumbing matter; Joyce was extremely helpful and had a plumber come out within a couple of hours (maybe less) to check the issue out. . Prices are also reasonable compared to other companies I've used in the past. I highly recommend this company and will be using them in the future

Plumber's Direct are fast, efficient, reliable and have amazing customer service. Joyce is fabulous!! We have two business locations and they come in and take care of the job no matter how big or small. From kitchen pipes, disgusting toilet's to roots in pipes, they arrive ready to help!

An amazing team at Plumbers Direct! After getting no help from another company, I called Plumbers Direct just based on Homestars and Google reviews. Joyce took my initial call. She was most helpful, kind and reassuring. Any problems related to water or water damage in a condo are anxiety inducing. I picked up a new toilet and the next day Tenzin and another worker came out and removed the old toilet and installed the new one. They were both professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. Tenzin and his team provided top notch service!

I called them over the weekend and they were out the next day. Sent me a quote within 30mins for the job and repaired all quick and easy. The fastest service i've ever had. Highly recommend.

Our dishwasher wasn't working when we first moved into a brand new renovated apartment. When I first ran it there was no water coming through and I received an error that wouldn't let me restart it from there. Joyce from PLUMBERS DIRECT called right away to help me troubleshoot. She offered for me to send pictures over text to help me troubleshoot the issue. The fix required me to turn on the water valve under the sink and reset the breaker to clear the code. Both of these things helped correct the issue and the dishwasher ran from there! She was incredibly patient and helpful and didn't require waiting on a technician to come to our home and wait for it to be fixed. Since it was related to the dishwasher install, the dishwasher was $350 but consultation was free!

Completed the job thoroughly and checked to if I was satisfied. Showed me what equipment was used
