David was an absolute pleasure to work with on our kitchen renovation. He was incredibly nice, approachable, and helpful throughout the entire process. He truly listened to our needs and feedback, and provided thoughtful suggestions that elevated the designs beyond what we imagined. David took charge of all the finer details of the designs, and made sure all the details were provided to the contractors, which made our lives so much easier. He provided detailed drawings to all the parties involved, so there were no questions or doubts during implementation. Thanks to his expertise and attention to detail, our new kitchen is not only stunning but also functional, perfectly tailored to our lifestyle. My husband and I were sick and tired of our kitchen and master bathroom. They were, to be blunt, ugly and pathetically out-of-date--and that corner jacuzzi just had to go! A friend recommended David and we couldn't have been happier. David was fun to work with and had tons of great ideas. All that, and the job was on-time and on-budget! He turned design-ugly into a designer dream. And, as for the bathroom, I now have my own personal spa. Thank you David!!!

We shared our wish list with David and he was able to create thoughtful designs that incorporated all of our needed elements. Working closely with his contractor, they came up with a proposal that was competitively priced with a reasonable timeline. The basement was brought down to the concrete foundation then rebuilt from scratch. David oversaw the entire building process and helped us choose the different colours & styles to have a cohesive entertainment area. We recently had the pleasure of working with David from David J Design on our major house renovation. We couldn't be happier with the outcome, and our experience with David was nothing short of spectacular. My partner and I worked together with David on our last house. When we moved to a larger home in North Toronto we immediately thought of David. The house was great, but the kitchen and master bathroom really needed help, and Nathan always wanted a family room with a fireplace and built-ins. We are so happy with the work -- it looks fantastic. As for David, hes fun to work with and did everything within our $125K budget. And it all came in on schedule. Nathan and I wouldnt hesitate to call on David again and we would highly recommend him to others.

Help was solicited for design and implementation of interior decoration in new house. Goals were to refresh and modernize decor and incorporate into large and difficult spaces given the open concept of the house. Site visits were efficient and meticulous care was taken with measurements. Design concepts were subsequently presented and discussed with respect to functionality and aesthetics. Utilizing David J"s skills for efficient procurement of furniture was a tremendous value added service. The entire experience of visits following "pre-shopping and planning" were made easier and designs tastes were impeccable and also respected personal aesthetics. I would, after this experience, highly recommend utilizing David not just for design concepts but also for procurement, his care in respecting personal aesthetics and just as importantly, budgets.

We did a complete reno of the master bathroom, dressing area, walk-in closet, master bedroom, and guest bathroom. David was instrumental in getting this project completed from start to finish. He helped us to make the design decisions on space, flooring, lighting, fixtures, and countertops. The shopping days were focused and productive. It would have been too overwhelming just on our own, given the range of selections. Very happy with the final outcome.

Working with David was such a pleasure. He really cares passionately about his work and pays close attention to all details. He really brought my vision to life and helped me stay on budget. All his design choices were excellent. He put so much thought into the design and had my best interest at heart. He really listened to what I wanted as that was very important to me. I loved working with David and his construction crew, they are all class acts and very professional. We lived in our basement during this reno and considering all the work that was going on upstairs it was quite painless. I would not want anyone else touching my house again. I trust their work and craftsmanship. I would recommend David to anyone. I can't wait for him to come back for my basement and laundry room. My husband and I hired David to update our drab 1980s kitchen to something modern and beautiful, with plenty of storage. He also took our dated master bathroom and turned it into a private oasis with a freestanding tub and spacious shower. We LOVE the end result. Thank you David!
