Nick lived up to the positive reviews. Responded right away, came onsite and provided the quote, kept in touch, and completed the work quickly (within 1 week of my call). There were 3 very different options for running the gas line and none of them were simple, Nick explained the pros and cons of each one. I had a cheaper quote from the store where I bought the bbq but they hadn't even come on site to see the issues and Nick explained why the basic install wouldn't apply in this case (very long run requiring larger pipe because of pressure drop). Nick had to lower the entire gas meter to make room for the new connection and even adjusted the pre-existing interlocking stones so that the meter would be above grade again as required by code. Very clean and professional install job. Thanks Nick!

Smelled gas Dec 27 in house and outside. Union gas gave me violation and had to get it repaired in two months. Called around to the people listed in my area and Metro West Gas was the only person to return my call. Had it repaired quickly for the time of the year. Very happy with Nick and all his information related to the gas lines in my house.

We did a complete kitchen retrofit. We trashed the mid-90s appliances that came with the house and demolished all the cabinetry too. Our dream was to have a gas line installed but we had our work cut out for us: the kitchen is located at the back of my house - some 35 feet of gas line had to be cut through the floor joists, through a masonry wall and the subfloor in order to reach the kitchen. To make matters worse, we did not have adequate ventilation for our hood fan. Whereas these were the major issues, we also had to deal with pluming and electrical work, as the previous owners were DIYers without much skill.

We called Nick and he expertly assessed our situation and got to work. He was able to work around the other trades which was very helpful, given the phased nature of renovation work.

Nick knows everything about building mechanicals, be it gas lines, plumbing, circuits or chimneys. He even had specific experience installing the appliances we bought. What really sets him apart is the pride he takes in his work and it most definitely shows in the final product.

I enjoyed having Nick around for the course of a few weeks as he is a nice guy, a family man and an excellent contractor.

Nick did a first class job and explained all his work to us. Both my wife (who is hard to please) and I are very happy with his work and service.

Nick and his crew did a fantastic job fixing the previous owner's terrible gas line and wiring. He went out of his way to retrofit the new stove into a very tight space, even trimming the granite countertop and replacing screws for a very professional look. Nick even came back on his day off to finish the job and fix an electrical issue. Very pleased with the outcome.

Best to get a written quote before the job starts. And a written receipt when the job is done.
Nick knows what he's doing and is proficient but communication can be difficult.

We bought a new house from Arista and hired Nick to install the fridge, washer/dryer, hood fan, gas range, dish washer and central vacuum.
Nick inspected the area, communicated all the details and in fact read the manual for the hood fan to insure it includes the complete part list. We realized that the vendor didn't send a cover and Nick helped me with that too. In a matter of 5 hours, Nick and his help installed all the appliances and everything worked very well.

Overall, very professional and honest.

I called Metrowest Gas & Appliance Installation to get a quote and Nick called me back right away. He came out with one of his guys a few days later and was able to hook up my BBQ with no issues. He tested everything and ensured he took the time to take me through how everything worked and also spent a few minutes giving me some advice on safe practices, etc. Nick is not only a very nice guy but did solid and thorough work. I would definitely recommend him and his company for this service.

We hired Metro Gas to install our appliances, a few gas lines and some risers for our laudry and dryer. Nick (owner and installer) was difficult to schedule with, it seems he is unable to manage his schedule or book time more than 1-2 days in advance making it impractical for managing around other engagements. He was rude and dismissive. I ended up with 3 scratches on my dryer, and when I pointed them out he dismissed it saying it was there before (which I know for a fact it wasn't). I trust his installation (as far as I can tell), but will not be working with this company again because overall the service was unpleasant and dismissive.
