I would highly recommend So Green on there hardscaping work at the front and driveway of my house. I would use them again. They worked well with my electrician who installed the heated driveway and front of the house steps

Yard design / landscaping: Design and landscaping; 500 - 1000 sq ft
Gus and his crew did a great job on our East York back yard - about 25 x 60 ft. They prepared the ground which included removing and disposing of about 20 cubic yards of dirt, digging a trench to add power to our shed, sourcing and supplying interlock stones to our specifications, and laying new sod. They showed up every day they were supposed to, they were flexible in us changing the scope of work (both adding and removing things) along the way. Gus was pleasant to work with and was responsive to texts and email. He recommended delaying the sod install until the weather cooled so that it would take better. He could have just put in and walked away, but I do feel he wanted it be successful in the long run. They charged per the quote. No surprises. The end result looks great and we are happy to have a refreshed back yard to enjoy. Before and after photos attached.

swimming pool

Gus and crew did an excellent job a few years ago designing and creating retaining walls, patios and walkways for our Etobicoke home. Competitively priced, showed up on time - every day. Great staff and eager to customize as the project advances. So good that our neighbors also used Gus. Reliable and honest trades people are hard to find. Would work with Gus and SoGreen again.

Limestone patio, in-ground spa, lighting system, trees
Gus did a great job for us last summer. We have large heritage house that had never been properly landscaped. Gus gave us a good estimate for laying a natural stone patio and installing an in-ground spa, among other improvements. Most importantly, he did the work on time and as promised, with no extras or unexpected surprises. He has good esthetic sense himself and a nice eye for detail, so he gave me solid advice about a lot of things (like the the best tree species, correct step heights, how to properly lay a randomized pattern, outdoor light placement) that I didnt necessarily know about. On top of all that, hes a nice guy and a good communicator. I would definitely recommend Gus to anyone doing a high-end outdoor project.

Your Heritage houses is one of the few beautiful houses that I've seen in Toronto and I'm sure with the back yard landscaping now and the spa and the enhancement of the front entrance to meet the requirements of the heritage and adding the value to the main entrance finished with all natural Indiana limestone and meeting the requirement of the heritage was for sure an added value hope you and all of your family have a great summer enjoying the back yard and the spa . cheers. Front Yard Parking Pad, Front Entrance refinishing, Retaining Wall and Waterproofing Foundation.
Gus suggested improvements before quoting the job. He provided a timely quote (and the most detailed). Work site was tidied up each day, which kept good relations with our neighbors. He did a quality job and we will hire him for the next job.

So Disappointing
A picture is worth a thousand words. Here is the trench drain So Green formed and poured for me. I rarely write reviews, but this one-man show named Gus that pretends to be a large company has wasted so much of my time that I feel obligated to warn others.

Complete home landscaping back and front, night lighting and plants
Gus and his team did a beautiful job landscaping our front and backyard with lighting and plants. We were totally sold on his detailed design and his attention to details. There were hiccups along the way especially with the scarcity of resources and materials; hence we had to make multiple changes along the way. That being said, Gus worked with us throughout the entire process and kept us up to date and informed with changes. He also provided alternative solutions that were invaluable. In the end, we were glad that everything turned out well! If you are looking for detail and quality, we definitely recommend So Green Canada for your landscaping needs. You will not be disappointed! Gus is very professional and amazing to work with and goes above and beyond to meet client expectations. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to make a home look beautiful. Thank you Gus and team for all the hard work you’ve done to make our home look attractive! Retaining Wall, Steps and Landscaping
From my initial consultation to the completion of the project, Gus was extremely professional and hard working. From meeting me at the stone yard to select the exact colour, designing a beautiful natural stone retaining wall and suggesting a second set of stairs along the side of the house- he thought of everything. His knowledge of plant/tree varieties was amazing a well and really finished off the landscaping nicely. We are beyond happy with the work that was completed.

Flagstone Steps resurfacing
We have contacted So Green Landscape last year and asked for an estimate on steps resurfacing. The reason we chose So Green after an initial interview was because they were professional, gave us options on choices of material, but most of all, they were realistic about what was possible and when we would be getting our steps done. We agreed that the old stones would be removed in the fall beasuse they were loose and presented a danger, and new stones will be put in spring of this year as soon as the weather allowed. We were contacted in March and the steps were put in less than a week. We love our new steps and the neighbours are stopping to admire them and asking for So Green's contact number.
