Our outdoor security light was buzzing rather than lighting up. I reached out to Ricardo after reading all his excellent reviews, and we were extremely pleased with his responsiveness, expertise, and efficiency. Turned out that the fixture needed to be replaced, and he didn't hesitate to run out to Home Depot to pick up a replacement (sent us photos of his recommendations for this before purchasing). He installed the new light and was a pleasure to work with. We'll definitely be calling him again! Highly recommend :)

I needed to have a few pieces of furniture moved within the GTA. The pick up timing had to be shifted due to delays on my end, and Monah was extremely accommodating. He even volunteered to help to retrieve the furniture from where it had been packed by the previous mover, and did so very efficiently. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He clearly has extensive experience with moving both large and small loads. He will be the first person I contact the next time I need anything moved. Highly recommend!

Had to pay $600+tax to buy out a 10 year old hot water tank that we don't need. I've spoken with Enercare representatives over the past 3 years since we bought the property, as we were appalled at the monthly rental fee of over $35 (over $400/year). These representatives were accommodating in providing 3 months credit, but when I asked whether there is any commitment to the rental after this credit, they said NO. I asked whether, if I chose, I could remove and return the unit, and they said yes. Today I called them to arrange pick up/drop off of the tank. I was first on hold for over 30 minutes, then transferred to 4 separate representatives. In the end they refused to take the return, and would not deviate from requiring me to buy out the contract that I never signed, and that their own previous representatives agreed that I could cancel if I chose to do so. Over $600 buyout for a 10 year old tank is outrageously expensive. I have had similar experience with Enercare's competitor in returning rental tank inherited from previous owner, and they were a pleasure to deal with, no issues at all with picking up the tank, with no charge to me at all. I will never consider Enercare for any services. Please never consider renting HVAC / HWT equipment (from anyone) ! It's infinitely less expensive to purchase and finance from line of credit, if needed.

We have used Green & Spotless to clean ducts at both our home and our rental properties. We're always impressed with care that Alec and Devon take to ensure that the job is done well, and with no mess left behind - truly spotless. Bonus is that Alec and Devon are not only professional, but also kind and personable - a pleasure to work with. They will continue to be our go-to for duct and dryer vent cleaning. Highly recommend!

Carmen was the the consummate professional from start to finish. Very reasonable quote, and even more importantly he clearly has a deep knowledge base of the paving ins & outs. We had a few unexpected challenges to deal with, and he was extremely accommodating. Carmen is 100% hands-on and has an amazing work crew, all of whom were a pleasure to work with. We ended up with a beautiful widened driveway with carefully crafted finishes. Highly recommend.

These guys know what they're doing, and they do so with courtesy and professionalism every step of the way, from scheduling call through completion. Inside the house they laid runners and corner guards to ensure no damage to anything - this was particularly nice as we'd just painted and renovated. Devon and Alec answered questions, made recommendations, and completed the job efficiently. Highly recommend.

I first found Fujitech on Homestars several years ago. It was highly rated then, as it is now - with good reason. Over the years I've needed laptop help of various sorts, on several occasions, and each time, Joseph has expertly evaluated the situation (at no charge, even if it takes hours), and recommended the best course of action. Every time he's completed work for me, it's been thorough and very reasonably priced. He always sticks to his quote, even if the job takes longer than expected. On this last visit, he assessed the problem (5 year old laptop refused to take Windows update), offered a solution, but then actually recommended that I'd be better off not going for the fix, but rather investing in an updated laptop. He even helped me understand which features are important to look for, when I'm shopping. He didn't make a penny off the 2-3 hours that he put into my laptop challenge, but he did once again secure my loyalty. Fujitech is the go-to place for any computer-related repairs, bar none.

This is the third time I've turned to Fujitech for computer SOS, and each time I've been equally impressed with their professionalism and trustworthiness. The first time, my tracking pad wouldn't respond. After a short examination, they noticed that I'd inadvertently switched it off! Problem solved quickly, and no charge. The second time, my Lenovo laptop screen/cover joint cracked, making it impossible to open. Joseph recognized what happened and agreed to simply install the replacement cover that I sourced from offshore, when local suppliers didn't have it in stock. It ended up taking him twice as long as predicted for him to complete the installation job, but he stuck to his $50 quote for the service - worth every penny. Today, I brought in my daughter's MacBook Pro, which was apparently not connecting to the hard drive (white screen with question mark). Joseph took ten minutes to explore possible issues, including dead hard drive, and ultimately determined that it was a cable issue, which he's found is common in MacBooks, though Apple apparently doesn't accept this... In any case, problem was solved in less than half hour - $85 for the cable, $15 for service, 100% happy daughter. If you're looking for a place you can trust for computer help, look no further. You'll get professional, focused attention, no charge for assessing needs, and quality, reasonably priced, and efficient service.

Manny and his team (Carlos & Avi)were a pleasure to deal with, from the first contact through the job's end. All of Manny's communication, from initial visit, to quotation, job scheduling, instructions to his team, accommodating my special requests, and checking on the quality of his team's work, were extremely professional and polite. He has a refreshingly high standard for quality, as did his team. The job was done beautifully and quickly. Carlos & Avi cleaned up thoroughly before leaving each day, and were very pleasant to have in the house. Great experience overall. Definitely recommend!

We thought we were dealing with a single (large) mouse under the sink and maybe something between the basement and main floor, but when our live trap didn't work, I turned to Homestars. Everyone seemed to recommend Chris Wright from "A Animal removal" - we called him, but he doesn't deal with rodents & recommended Kevin Diamond at GTA Wildlife Removal. Kevin was fabulous - professional, efficient, even compassionate towards the rodents he exterminates. He took the time to answer all our questions on the phone, including how he'd assess & deal with the problem, and how the treatment works. He came over that same day, and quickly identified by looking at the droppings under our kitchen sink that we weren't dealing with one mouse, but several rats (!), who had eaten through the wood and were making their home in the space above the basement. He checked out all our bathrooms, cupboards, attic (even though he explained that mice, not rats, go to attics), furnace room and garage. He left pellets in all the places he knows rodents like even if there was no evidence that they'd been there, all the time making sure that there was no way that children or pets would be able to get their hands on them. He showed me where to check under the kitchen sink to see if the rats were gobbling up fast enough to warrant his return prior to his standard 10-day "check up" post-treatment. Fortunately, the noises stopped within a couple days, and the problem appears to be over. Not a fun thing to deal with, but Kevin couldn't have made it easier under the circumstances.
