At the move destination, they put a prominent 10ft scratch in a brand new floor and refused to take the blame for it. Two of the three movers were yelling back at us, very confrontational. One of them said something to my 7 year old daughter that made her cry for a half hour, she was visibly shaken and scared. They didn't deliver two leg posts of our queen bed frame (I suspect they held this back spitefully) which have the brackets attached which are necessary to put the bed together: another words we no longer have a bed. We were moving from a condo to a townhouse and at the condo we asked them to move two pieces of heavy furniture to the condo garbage area for easy disposal. But they were good functional pieces of furniture (we just didn't have room for them at the new place) and offered it to the movers - two of them laid claim to them and loaded the pieces on the truck. When the relationship soured after the scratch was found early on during unloading, they dumped these two pieces in the middle of our garage and refused to take them away. We had no easy way of getting rid of them at the townhouse. I refused to sign the visa authorization until the franchise owner (they are on Kipling), Robert, came out to confirm that they would take care of the floor. The owner agreed on the phone and promised to take care of it in a couple of days. He never came but put the charge through my visa without my authorization. He didn't return my phone calls till I got head office involved but when he came he just started arguing. He finally agreed to have a floor expert he uses fix the floor and to look for the bed posts/brackets. Nothing happened and he didn't return my calls. Finally he told me he decided to 'deny' my claim for insurance and head office is now silent also. This is the most disreputable bunch of movers I have ever used (and I've moved a lot of times). Stay away.
