New Visions installed a full four zone system for me in June. As many have mentioned, Robin is very professional in his approach. I was very happy with the installation and how little they disrupted the existing grass. I was just as impressed with how quickly Robin responds to any questions or concerns you may have. A week after the installation I wanted to have one of the heads adjusted. I received a response from Robin 5 minutes after I texted and they dropped by my house to do the adjustment at 8 in the evening that day after doing two full installations. These guys really know about customer service!!! I would not hesitate to hire New Visions for my sprinkler needs.

I hired V+F to do a complete renovation of my backyard. This involved laying 800 sq feet of interlock walkways and patio, putting in a garden wall, and regrading and sodding the entire yard. I have to say that it was a pleasure to work with Frank and Vince, who are both very professional and knowledgeable in what they do. Throughout the entire project communication with these guys was excellent and they are extremely polite. Even after-hours Frank responded to texts within minutes. Every request was met with a “No problem”, or “Sure we can do that”. They are very focused on making their customers happy. During the two weeks they at my house, they cleaned up the site and washed the driveway everyday. It showed that they cared about my home and neighbours. The pricing was reasonable and certainly competitive with other quotes that I received. The work was very well done. These guys know how to do patios and interlock!!!!. I would certainly recommend them for any landscaping in the future. In fact, I have already sent them over to my Mother’s to quote on some work. I think that says something!!!

This is the second time I have hired Canada Waterproofers to do work. Slava is a true professional who cares about his customers. He is very responsive and is patient to answer any questions you may have. My hats off to Stas and Bogdan who did the work. The area was all hand dug and given the lack of rain this summer, the earth was very hard. They cleaned up the site everyday and were very polite. After the excavation and waterproofing were done, they did a great job on restoring the side of the house. You can barely tell that the area was disturbed at all. If you are in need of waterproofing, I would highly recommend this company.

I have used Dmitri before for other jobs. This was to replace a cracked floor tile, laid by another contractor. You are not going to find a more polite, knowledgeable, and friendly contractor. I can not praise him enough for his attention to detail, even on such a small job. He truly wants to make sure you are 100% happy and I am a very picky guy. He is my go-to guy when it comes to tile.

I have used Solutions several times to do work in my home. This time I had them in to run a line for a new AC installation and do put in some pot lights in the front of the house. Joe and Manny were punctual, very pleasant and efficient at getting the job done. I trust Solutions to get the job done right at a reasonable costs.

I have used Lawn Savers for two seasons now. I like the communication before and after each service. They are competitive and I like the fact that they are a privately owned company. They truly seem to care!!

I hired Straight Up to replace some spalding brick along the bottom of my garage. I made my decision based on their excellent reviews on Home Stars and I must say that I was not disappointed. Due to the fact that they could only do the project in stages, to ensure the wall above did not collapse, the job took four days to complete. Each day the site was left clean and tidy. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and will use them again if I ever need a mason.

I called Solutions Electrical to change out approximately 15 switches and receptacles in a basement renovation that I did. Their quote was fair, they were accommodating in term of schedule and complete the work in a neat and professional manner. I would certainly use them again.

Part of what makes a good contractor is how they service the customer, not only when everything goes right, but also when there is a hiccup in the process. Dmitri was contracted to do some repairs on our shower floor. He sent his employee Chris to do the work. Chris was prompt and courteous while in our home. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the original work done. When I called Dmitri to report the issue, he came immediately that night. He was very apologetic and worked in an expeditious manner to rectify the problem all at his cost. I was very impressed on how he dealt with the issue. Dmitri is a true professional and truly cares that his customers are 100% satisfied. Based on his service and attitude, I would not hesitate to recommend Dmitri and Tilestars. I am already planning the next project I want them to do.

I had Insta, remove vermiculite, completely re insulate my attic and do some spray foam work for me during major renovation. The service was great during that project. As things always, happen, I had a leak this past winter and was worried about the insulation in the attic. When I reached out to my Insta adviser, Jason, about what it would cost to inspect the insulation, he offered to come over at no charge. Thankfully nothing was damaged during the leak, but after sales service such as that shows the true color of a company. Thanks Insta!!!!

Our house was in bad need of recaulking. David came out, gave a fair price and even did the work himself. When I called him back to do a couple touch-ups, there was no attitude like you get with some other contractors. He stands behind his work!!!! I am convinced that by recaulking we eliminated several small leaks we had in basement. Well worth the money.

We had heard some banging in our dryer vent, only to see that birds were coming in and out and in the process building a nest/ We called Duct Cleaning Depot on a Friday and they fit us in on a Sunday for a cleaning. Damien was early, very polite and friendly and did a great job. He left the site very neat and tidy. The cost was right on the quote. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I had an inspection done by Carson Dunlop on a home I purchased in August. I found Hal to be professional and helpful in clarifying the points in the report. Recently, I had an issue where it was discovered that the hot water tank venting was too close to an exposed wall and this had to be corrected due to safety reasons. When I contacted Carson Dunlop to inquire why this had not been covered in the inspection report they were quick not to make excuses and promptly offered to pay to have the needed work done. in an age where customer service seems to have gone by the wayside, they went above my expectations to make things right,

I had John install some pot lights, change my main panel from fuses to circuit breakers, install some light fixtures and receptacles for a major renovations that I am doing in a 60 year old house that I just purchased. While other electricians would not return a simple phone call to set up a meeting, John did so within hours. We met and discussed the project. John came several times to my home to do phases of the project as the construction progressed. He was always very polite and on time and was very good about answering my questions on the work being done and even work that was outside of the scope of work that he had been hired for. In the end, I was very pleased with his work and he came in under budget. I will be using John as my “go to” electrician for any additional projects around my home.
