Sent to POM via email yesterday after a relationship and project development process (full-home Kitec plumbing replacement + shower stall/fixtures upgrade) that began in May. And of course, it has also been ignored by the company. Buyer beware... (Note: Actual people names removed for protection from doxxing. This is about the company, NOT a personal attack: To Whom It May Concern: Per my last text message to your representative, Mr. *** last Friday afternoon, please accept this as our further written notice of cancellation regarding the Kitec replacement that was to be executed by your team in our home beginning next Monday, September 19. Since the beginning of our relationship with your firm (primarily via Mr. ***) numerous texts and emails from us to him have gone ignored until numerous (highly patient, OVERpolite!) attempts were made by us to secure replies, most of which came. Eventually. When confronted with the fact that we were frustrated with those circumstances early this summer, Mr. *** simply explained... he was too busy! (My husband and I have been serving our own clients for over 40 years and cannot imagine any circumstance where we would say that to even our worst customers and we have been anything but throughout this frustrating situation.) But still, we agreed to proceed with our project this September as planned, with the belief that communications would be smoother (normal) going forward. However, the last straw came when an early August request I sent to Mr. *** inquiring about the possibility of increasing the scope of our project (and therefore the money we would be spending with your firm) again went repeatedly unresponded-to, despite repeated gentle reminders (via email and text msgs) that we were still waiting to hear back. When I finally called your main company number to find out why this was happening (again!) I was informed Mr. *** was on vacation (complete news to me). I even texted Mr. *** apologizing for MY frustration in the absence of information that he was away, and telling him I was eager for the new quote once he'd settled back in post-holiday. Of course, again I was completely ignored. I am happy to provide on request copies of all texts/emails in order to demonstrate I have been more than polite and patient throughout all of this. What I/we will not do however, is entrust our hard-earned money (and our home) to any product/service supplier that has such clear disregard not only for professionalism, but basic common courtesy. We are saddened (and confused) by this outcome, but maybe the more we share this story with others (and believe me we will, in person and online) and your competition, as we look for a new supplier more interested in our business...and our money! they can give us some insights into why these choices were made by your firm with work worth thousands on offer.
Western Bathrooms & Liners
Rating: 4.3 out of 5
At Western Bathrooms & Renovations, we aren't special because we believe we are (though our moms sure think so,) - but we have experienced, tailored and progressed in the industry for over 30 years. Great experience with WBL! Had them come out and renovate both of our bathrooms, one shower to tub and one tub to shower, they completely gutted one of the bathrooms, finding many issues from previous homeowners. They rectified all issues and did a wonderful job updating both bathrooms at a more than reasonable cost. They showed up on time every day and left our home clean everyday, they care. The team of Santino, Tom, Clayton and Dave are top notch and they come to work!! The sub contractors they referred to do the electrical and mudding/taping were also excellent. We love our new bathrooms and wish we would have hired them years ago. Thanks guys.

Install or replace wooden floor or parquet- 2 Apr 2025
SCAM ALERT - Took 60% money and left w half done damaged job site. I posted a job here for hardwood refinishing. Got contacted by Tristen, met w him and hired them to do the job. Earlier he said its only 20% deposit and rest on job completion. But when he started he asked for more money like at the end of the day. They started the Job which I dont think they knew how to do. They worked w rental tools, left the floors scratched using drum sander, stained half job site blochy and leaving other half unstained. Did not even sanded to.a proper grit. Unprofessional, They used to come at around 11 am and leave at usual 6 pm, spending a lot of time in between just chatting. Spent a whole week doing only sanding to a quoted 4 day job containing sanding, staining and poly. They took about 60% of they money on monday, soon after went to get the "rental polisher" and then stopped picking calls and no reply to messages either. To a prospect home owner - You better stay away.

Yard maintenance- 10 Jun 2026
Poorly, I paid for 3 visits in July. They came once at the beginning of July and never came again. Dave at Timberwind refuses to answer phone calls or emails. He owes us close to $300.00. Any pressure you can apply would be much appreciated.

Hired them to create a basement entrance - overall frustrating experience with their communications and delayed responses, and sloppy work. Took months to get started, ended up spilling the project to the following year. Worse, the existing porch stairs obviously had to go but they missed this in the initial scope so we ended up having an additional SOW. Then we kept seeing the rusts all over around the metal posts and on top of the painted stairs; they came back and did a touch-up - rusts came back again, and after multiple emails we gave up. Overall, I have nothing against them as they seem nice as people, but poor project management and sloppy finish.

Build or renovate basement- 12 Jul 2026
UPDATE: We have found out the contractors did some code violations and although they gave us a warranty they are not fixing their mistakes. We hired HiExpertss for our basement renovation and the team did an outstanding job! Our house was built in the 50s, so there was a lot of work that needed to be done. They had to completely gut the basement, cut through the concrete to replace the old cast iron plumbing, and reframe the entire space. We also ended up adding a kitchenette, which wasn't something we had originally planned, but it was a great suggestion from the team. From the scoping and quoting phase they did a great job explaining all the work that needed to be done and they maintained their plan and execution throughout. They communicated when they would start and when they would be done for the day by text message. The pricing was very reasonable for the amount of hard work they put in. Whenever we had design ideas they worked with us to make it possible.

Various small jobs- 22 Sep 2026
Kham is a very nice man and was ready and willing to do all the small jobs I needed help with. Unfortunately we had a communication issue around the quote for the work. This did not come to light until part way thru the process. We discussed and came to an agreement and settled on a price for the work completed to date. We decided to leave some work incomplete for another time.
