He walked off the job when we wouldn't pay one day of his 18-year-old assistant's 25/h cash for a day of painting when we said we didn't want him painting at all. His agreement was for $50.00/h but then he showed up with an 'assistant' that he expected us to also pay bringing it $75.00/h. I think the paint job on our refurbished (sort of) deck seen in the pictures below says it all. He walked off the job in the end over 175.00 after being prepaid over 3000.00 for incomplete work. Note, I now have over 200 of those spindles to clean on my own.
