Toronto, ON | May 2023 – Present - Installed multiple roofing systems: torch-applied membranes, cold/hot modified bitumen, BUR, and single-ply membranes (EPDM, TPO, PVC). - Assisted with layout and prep for roof installations, including vapor barriers, insulation, and flashing systems. - Performed general labor duties including demolition, site cleanup, scaffolding setup, material transport, and equipment prep. - Worked with carpenters and other trades during multi-stage construction tasks (roofing, decking, framing, and siding). - Read and interpreted blueprints and construction drawings to complete assigned builds to spec. - Ensured compliance with company safety policies, including use of fall arrest equipment and PPE. - Provided support to supervisors by training junior laborers and coordinating work across teams. - Maintained accurate logs of daily site activity and material usage.
