Honestly, I’m super happy with how it turned out. The old caulking in my shower was all moldy and cracking, but they cleaned everything up perfectly and made it look brand new again. They came right on time, worked neatly, and didn’t rush the job. You can tell they actually care about what they do.

House looks amazing "Had the North Coating team out to paint our exterior siding and trim. They did a lot of prep work (sanding and washing) before they even started painting, which made a huge difference in the final look. The house looks 10 years younger. Very happy with the service and the cleanup." Rating: 10/10

Install or replace exterior or reinforced doors- 27 Oct 2025
We purchased a new Composite front entry door with composite frame, sidelights and a triple latch system. We also purchased a new rear sliding door. We shopped around and their price was indeed the lowest by several hundred dollars. Unfortunately, the door had to be replaced 3 times due to very evident defects in the factory finish. In the end, the door frame wasn't installed square to the house so the door doesn't hang square in the frame. it looks good if you don't look at the obvious uneven spacing between the door and frame. They couldn't fix it, so as compensation, the boss offered me a discount on any new work I need. I do need windows, but why would I buy more product from them after that. I gave them three stars because they tried to remedy the screw-ups and the door does look good if you don't pay close attention to details.

Build or replace decking- 23 Aug 2025
We started with a deck repair problem of rotten stringers. Park City Construction quoted a comparable good price. Peter, the owner and also a gentleman, explained what need to be done on the repair. We also found out that Park City also do landscaping and we hired him to pave walkways in the front and back yards. In addition, we also got Park City to do weeding in the garden for us. They also did a minor repair on our paved driveway too. All the work were done in a few days when we were away. We like the walkways in the yards very much. The repair of the deck was good. The weeding job is fine considering the existing conditions of flowers and weeds mix. We have no problem to refer Peter and City Park to our friends to resolve their problems.

Build or renovate basement- 4 Aug 2026
Michael and the Level Up team recently completed a major renovation of our legal basement apartment, along with a complete refresh of our main floor. We spoke with eight general contractors, received four formal bids, and ultimately selected Level Up. From the beginning, their proposal stood out as clear, detailed, transparent, and well organized. Being out of the country for approximately 95% of the renovation naturally made us a bit nervous about how the project would progress. However, Michael and his team provided regular emails, videos, photos, and phone calls and answered all 100 questions we had. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail were excellent. The team clearly took pride in their work, proactively addressed issues, and consistently looked for ways to improve the finished product rather than simply meeting minimum requirements. The renovation finished exceeded our expectations, and is awesome. Thank you Level Up Team

Based on Peakwork's reviews in HomeStars we hired Mustafa and his crew to replace and restore our 20 year old, two storey cedar deck. They arrived when they said they would, worked hard while here, did excellent work and were very responsive to our questions and changes. And, for what it's worth, Peakwork is the first contractor I've ever hired who has completed their work in the time originally scheduled. We are very happy with the results and recommend him wholeheartedly. You cannot go wrong - they do fantastic work.

Install or renovate bathroom- 27 Mar 2026
We hired Santiago and the Montemayor team to do a cosmetic renovation to our bathroom in August 2025. We got very busy in the interim, but I wanted to leave a review expressing how happy we were with the work. Previously, we had an electrician install some new lighting and move/install some fixtures, all of which left a lot of holes in the walls. We needed Montemayor to do a significant amount of drywall repair, as well as paint the bathroom walls and cabinets. Additionally, we needed help mounting a sizeable mirror cabinet. In the end, the work was carried out quickly and professionally, and we are super happy with our modern, clean, and well-lit bathroom! We will definitely be enlisting Montemayor again for more renovation in the spring, and highly recommend them.

Install or renovate bathroom- 27 Mar 2025
We hired SLG to renovate and repair water damage in our ensuite bathroom as well as update a portion of our basement including a washroom. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work, the speed that it was completed in and the flexibility of the team to deal with issues that arrive renovating a 1950's home. Electrical, framing and plumbing issues were quickly addressed and little extra touches were added with no additional expense to us to update our home. We can not say enough positive things about Jack, Joe and his team. They are the best most courteous people and we would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone else. Mabda (Ben) is a someone you should avoid at all costs. He charged me $350+HST for fixing a sink at a condo I own. I trusted the work would be done and did not follow up to confirm. Buyer beware, the sink was not fixed at all! If he challenges this review, I have receipts showing what I paid, and pictures that show it was never fixed. Stay away!! The best/funniest part is, he flooded my toilet when he was there too just my luck! Read the reviews and don't waste your time. The good ones are probably fake.
