Damaged Roof Vent Cover

Glad we followed a recommendation and called Gates for help.
From the friendly lady at the switchboard (sorry, I forgot the name) to Justin, who was able to come to our place within hours after I called, it was a great experience.
Justin assessed the damage, placed a disposable trap same day and replaced the damaged roof vent cover a week later during his follow up visit. We followed Justins recommendations, and have now all roof-vent-covers and dryer-vent-opening secured with metal coverage/cages to protect from further squirrel damages
Fast, efficient and knowledgeable service.

holes in the roof

Roofing review in Markham

Red squirrels created a hole in my roof and moved in. The AAA Gates technician did a thorough roof inspection and found several other holes and potential problems. He squirrel proofed the entire roof and installed a one way door in the main hole. He made a follow-up visit and found the door had been triggered so the squirrels were out and he neatly repaired the hole. I was so impressed that I called AAA Gates again this week because raccoons are tearing up the shingles. Another excellent technician performed a roof inspection. He gave me valuable advice and even helped we with my weather vane. I HIGHLY recommend AAA Gates Wildlife Control. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient and personable.

Bat Removal

We recently had Justin from Gates Wildlife Control to help us with a bat eviction and we are very grateful for his help and professionalism. We had another company out previously after a second sighting of a bat in our home and that company was pretty dismissive of our issue and it felt as if they thought that we were crazy. We had the complete opposite experience with Justin, which made us feel much more comfortable. He explained to us in great detail what we would need to do to not just get the colony out, but to keep them out afterwards. Our soffits and fascia needed replacing and we had found that they had been getting in and out through a gap in one of our corners. After having our aluminum replaced, which we had been planning to do already, Justin was able to install a one way door in a soffit light and he put a powder on the inside in order to see evidence that it was in fact used and after seeing that it was, he made sure to give some extra time to make sure that they had all left. He had also caulked the whole exterior soffits and installed cages on all of our roof vents. We are very happy with the level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Excellent Service

Newmarket

We had 3 areas on the second story of our house where red squirrels and raccoons had done a significant amount of damage to the stucco leaving a route to the attic. Nick was the wildlife technician who came and assessed the damage. He made recommendations for the repairs and also made suggestions for potential preventative measures. He was able to secure the damage with one way traps and netting the same day and returned the following week to remove the traps and further secure the areas. He was extremely informative and courteous. I never felt pressured into doing work that was not essential that day. Nick said I could call any time if I had further concerns. I would definitely recommend this company.

Squirrel Problems

Raccoon Eviction

20 years ago, Brad came and got rid of our visitor Rocky (or Roxy) the raccoon quickly and most efficiently.
Now, Joel took care of what must have been Rocky's descendant since he/she chose to enter via our soffits again...
All is now quiet in our roof thanks to Gates - easy peasy (for the pros who know at Gates).

Red squirrel removal

A red squirrel had gotten into our attic and Gates found all the entry points and sealed them up. They also identified vulnerable points on my roof and built wire mesh cages around them. The squirrel has not returned, but it did try for a couple of days after before giving up.

Gates' knowledge and workmanship are of a high order and I would have no hesitation in retaining their services in the future should I be unfortunate in getting another animal invasion.
