As per my review below, Chris returned promptly to finish the job. It's important for companies to take ownership when something was not done 100% to customer satisfaction, thank you chris for doing this. I change my review stars.

Initially used this company because of the great reviews. Chris came out and installed a one way door in roof where squirrels were entering. Paid him in full over 300$. Chris said he would return in 2 weeks to remove the door, repair the hole and deodorize living space. Which is stated on receipt. This was April 21st 2014. He NEVER returned. After a few months I sent an email with no response. I called several times to ask when he was coming back to complete the job. Chris always said I'll be there next week. It's now been over a year and I have an ugly metal door coming out of my roof at the front of my house. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We are very grateful for the work we've had done on two occasions by A1 Animal Removal. They are prompt, the qork quality was very high, and they replied promptly to our email contact. Our first encounter was due to squirrels ripping open our roof over our garage and were living above our garage. They came over and set up a cage to capture them and humanely release them, and repaired the damage for us. A year or two later, racoons had ripped through a trellis in our backyard deck and were living under our deck; they removed the racoons, cleaned and sanitized our space, and repaired the deck, for a very fair and reasonable price. THANK YOU!!!! I highly recommend them.

We have used Chris on 2 different occasions (2 different homes) and were so happy with his friendly and efficient service. We lived at one location and he was able to get rid of the squirrels and then two years later after we had moved to a new home we had to call him regarding squirrels that were in our attic and making lots of noise. He was able to fix the issue promptly and efficiently. He got rid of the problem on both occasions and we haven't had to call him again! But if it happens again, he will definitely be the first on our list to contact!

We had Chris come to take a look at some squirrels that had made a home in our roof line. He quickly assessed the problem and went to work to solve it. The squirrels were gone very quickly and he came back a few days later to permanently close up the opening. We have not had any problems since!

I woke early this morn to a loud noise coming from the roof, went outside and a raccoon was tearing away at the sleeve around my stack. I called Chris, whom I had done work for me at a prev. home, he was here by late afternoon and took care of the problem and did some preventive work to my other stack. I've used him since 2000, in Markham, always reliable, always reasonable $,always professional aChris Wr always a good job!!

I was worried I had Raccoon on the roof or in my attic as our neighbour had spotted some on our roof. I called Chris and he came and checked everything out right away. I was lucky not to have a problem. Chris is very honest and will tell if there is a problem or not. I will definately call Chris if we have any problems in the future and will recommend him to family and friends. If you want an honest opinion call Chris. Thank you Chris!

This May, 2014, Andy and I requested Chris to remove a large bird’s nest in the dormer at the back of our house and to check another opening on the other side of the dormer where we suspected a raccoon or other animal had tried to enter.

With prevention also in mind of this occurring in the future, we asked Chris to secure these opening and all vents and vulnerable areas that look so inviting to unwanted “guests”.

Chris arrived on time, with all materials needed to complete these tasks. He told us ahead of time, what he planned to do and at each step of the process explained what he had just done and why.

His attention to detail with the tasks at hand were all that he promised, but his care and concern for our home to also look aesthetically pleasing, including co-coordinating tile colour, was a level of personal professionalism that is rarely found in workmanship these days.

Chris’ work will now stand the test of time, which is wonderful, but it also means that we will not have need of the opportunity to call on him again because his work is so thorough.

If you are looking for that rare mixture of integrity, workmanship and care for your home – count yourself lucky if you are able to have Chris take on your animal problems.

I was out of the country when my wife first heard our furry friends in the attic. I did my research and as soon as I got back I called Chris to come take a look at my raccoon issue. He was quick and to the point (in a good way) and knew of his action plan right away. He instilled confidence in me...I just let him get right to work. What he estimated is what he charged. He was prompt for both appointments and really easy to work with.

Two added things. We discovered that our builder failed to install shingles on a small area of roof. Chris was up to the task of finishing that off and making it look perfect. Also, when he had to purchase a new roof vent, he could not find the exact match. Colour was fine, but the design was a little off. I couldn't tell. He told me it was important to him that he dig around and find the right one, so it matches the rest of the house. This was a such a small detail but he is a perfectionist. "Trust me, i'll be back." is what he said.

About a month later, the door bell rang and there was Chris, smiling, holding up the roof vent. True to his word.

Do not hesitate to call Chris. He is the first guy you should call for animal removal.

Based on my recent experience, I highly recommend A1 Animal Removal. Chris was a great guy to work with. He demonstrated his expertise in an efficient, tidy and very reasonably priced raccoon removal (mother and babies). He even followed up on site the next week to add some additional gravel to a hole near the removal site. Overall, I was very satisfied with his service.
