This was the 2nd door I had installed from them in 6 months. One was at a rental property and now on my personal residence. I have also referred them to a couple of clients. Their prices are good, hence I will put up with the subpar communication, average service and grumpy installers.
Went to select a door, Dave the owner did not mention at that time that the promotional windows that were included were only insulated/thermal on the 2 inch insulated door. We ordered the 1 3/8 inch door at which time he did not say the windows were not insulated on this width door. After the install we realized the windows were not double pane. Called and left 5-6 messages for Dave and an email, but did not get a response, so I went to the showroom and he said he did not recall our conversation even though I had notes on the brochure. He just said the the insulated windows only came with the 2 inch door which he had not said at our initial meeting. He offered to replace the ones which came in the door with thermal units for an extra $190, which I declined. Moral of the story is if you are going to use Adams, make sure everything is CLEARLY in writing when you discuss it with Dave at the time of booking the order. Will only refer them with extreme caution and no liability except decent price.
