Mr Miley's and his crew did an excellent job, which included cutting down an old catalpa tree, substantially pruning a silver maple, and other work.

They arrived on time, and carried out the work exactly as agreed upon, quickly, and efficiently.

I unhesitantly recommend this team of competent and corteous professionals, whose services were also attractively priced.

Very competitive prices. They came on the day they said they would. We live in Cabbagetown so they had to work in tight quarters with lots of overhanging wires. No problems working in those conditions. Cleaned up afterwards really well. We have close neighbors and they made sure their yards were clean as well. Even cleaned up our roof. All the guys were friendly and professional. If I had to nitpick, I wasn't sure what time of the day they would be showing up. Tried calling them to find out so that I could plan my day, but didn't get any answers. But, in the end they showed up the day they said they would.

We received a permit to have our very poor condition large tree removed. After reading the reviews on HomeStars, I called Al Miley & Associates for a quote. We accepted the great price.
We did not have access and space for the equipment (machinery) on our premise to have the tree removed, we were given permission from our backyard neighbors to use the open space and driveway.
They were a crew of polite and very professional guys who did an amazing job and clean up!.

Robert from Al Miley & Associates was very professional. Within one day he was over at our house and did a quote for tree pruning. It was a very small job and I'm glad he agreed to do it. The quote was very fair and within 2 days the crew was here with their truck and it took them about 1.5 hours to do some pruning. They swept up well and I was very pleased with everything about Al Miley and Associates from start to finish.

Removed a large Nowegian Maple from a location that had very difficult access. It was necessary to use a crane from two different directions. There was no damage to property and the cleanup was good. Family business; the crew have worked together a long time. Excellent value and no hesitation recommending them.

In the past 4 years I have unfortunately had to remove 3 dead or injured trees in my backyard. Al Miley and his crew have dealt with all three removals as well as all pruning and maintenance. Last week they removed the last two trees and, as per usual, we're punctual, professional, friendly and effective. They also cleaned up perfectly after the job. Aside from this, each time that I've gotten quotes for tree work they have been at least 25% cheaper than the next cheapest quote.

Robert Jaeger and his crew took down a large tree that was on a fence line and overhanging our roof today. The work space was a tight side yard, with narrow street access. We're really impressed - the backyard is tidier than it was when the crew started. The tree is gone, and the cleanup was immaculate. The fence is fine, and so is the roof. A very large Siberian Elm at the back of my property near power lines and a 4 lane street had sustained extensive damage during an ice storm in the winter and had multiple dead and injured branches high up (>30 feet). Below sits my fence and some new fruit trees and plants. A second smaller tree near the house also had broken branches high up. Having had excellent service from Al Miley et al. in the past for smaller jobs, used their email request and promptly had a quote within days that was very reasonable. Similar to my past experiences, the number and skill of workers who showed up and managed to beautifully reshape the large tree and remove the many dead branches without causing any damage whatsoever to my fence, other trees, the wires, grass....was impressive. The cleanup was perfect as well with no mess at all left behind. The large tree is thriving now. I am impressed that the quality of work by this company has remained excellent over the years. This was the third project using them.
