I had a very poor experience with Al's Roofing. I had a leak on my flat roof. The new roof they installed had a leak as well. When I tried to contact them, they were slow to respond, despite leaving many messages. They initially denied responsibility. They did fix the roof but the job looked messy. I would not recommend them.

Oh, yes, Ron, I certainly remember you.
Number One: I remember explicitly that upon completion of the job you informed us that you "do not pay taxes". We had to amend the bill and ended up paying the tax of $180.96 out of our own pocket.
Number Two: The roof was indeed installed on Dec. 22, 2009. At the time you were renovating the house and none of your workmen spoke English. We received eight separate calls from you on New Year's Day 2010 starting at eight o'clock in the evening and continuing until midnight informing us that the roof was leaking and you wanted immediate action. The following day you arrived at my home at 7:30 in the morning to insist on our crew showing up. We arrived at your home on the 2nd of January as we had indicated to you but could find no problem with the roof. You indicated that you were leaving on holiday but your wife would be available. At this time we were shown photos and corresponding documentation by your home inspector indicating that the roof above and adjacent to the one we had replaced also needed replacement. You again called in on January 15, 2010 and we again returned to your home. We entered the house and found that the steel supporting post inside the house was wet. We sent a crew up on the upper roof and indicated to you that this was where the problem was coming from. We did a repair which you DID NOT PAY FOR and also installed electrical cables for you AT NO CHARGE. At this point you had the adacity to ask us to price additional work for you. We informed you that we would honor the warranty on the roof we had installed but wished to have no further working arrangements with you.
Documentation that passed between yourself and our company is on file in our office and available to anyone who wishes to substantiate this information.
