AC A coil replacement warrant dispute

I recently submitted a review on Atlas Air regarding the service we received concerning replacement of an A-coil just out of warranty. To conclude Mr Dick Thomas from Atlas Air has kindly and courteously resolved the issues for us and we are now happy to continue using them for our maintenance contracts.

Approximate cost of services:
$2,500.00

Company Response

Thank-you for your review Amanda. We appreciate the feedback and you taking the time to provide comments on our service.
As you know, earlier this week on Tuesday, I talked with your husband and have been working on solutions to the warranty issues with your AC system.
I plan to call him again later today with the news that your system is under warranty.
AtlasCare very much values our 10 year relationship. When I speak to your husband, I will be presenting several innovative ideas designed to restore our previously very successful 10 year record of service with you.
Once again, AtlasCare values your constructive comments.

AC A coil replacement

An engineer came in April to do the spring tune up on 5yr old AC - said the coolant was low and topped it up - no leak test performed. Just got a huge hydro bill and called Atlas to check if AC was a problem again. Leak test done and yes coolant was leaking from the A coil inside and had been for some time judging by the rust. Oh and now the unit was out of warranty - the cost to find problem $400 and cost to repair a further $2,500. Have been a loyal customer for ten years but feel problem should have been found in April when item was still under warranty. Also repair costs outrageous going elsewhere and will not use them again.

$2,500.00
