Avenue Road Roofing

Well, it has been just over a year since we had Avenue Road Roofing repair and re-shingle our solarium and a portion of our roof, and we thought it was about time to commend Avenue Road Roofing on a job well done.

We had purposely held off our feedback to wait and see if indeed the roof had been finally fixed. Before having Avenue Road, we had gone through a period of about four years with other contractors who did quick fixes on the roof only to have the leak return a couple months or even weeks later. Now, since having Avenue Road really repair the roof, we have gone through a whole year of heavy rains, snow, and high winds and not one problem. What a relief! We now have worry-free enjoyment of our solarium.

The are four things about Avenue Road that stand out in our minds:

1. Outstanding Customer Service. From beginning to the end of the project, absolutely everyone associated with Avenue Road was courteous and excellent to work with: at the Home Show, "P" provided us with a lot of information and was great in finalizing the quote ("P" also encouraged me to go up on a ladder to see what he was talking about); "D" who gave us a call to notify us and prep us for the job date; the actual repair contractors; and Avenue Road accounting.

2. Excellent quality work. As they say, "the proof is in the pudding". Not one problem to date and it looks great. the contractors worked tirelessly, were able to overcome structural issues (rotting wood and skylight), biological issues (ants!) and left the site spotless.

3.Credibility and Integrity. Out of the three companies that provided us with quotes, Avenue Road was the only company to indicate that a large portion of our roof still had several years of life and that only the solarium and the south portion of our roof needed replacing at the time. We had also seen Avenue Road on Mike Holmes TV show and could see how credible the company is. Even our parents had used Avenue Road for their roof many years ago (which we didn't know until after our project was completed!)

4. Fair Pricing. Avenue Road's quote wasn't the cheapest that we received, but we believe that we received the best possible value for the high quality of people we worked with and the workmanship we received. We have since heard from friends that Avenue Road's estimates weren't the highest either.

Although your quote was not the cheapest, I was very impressed with R. Everything was carried out in timely manner and the entire crew proved to be professional and knowledgeable. after previous bad experience with roofers, i can say that avenue road roofing is the best and i will pass that on to friends. although a rainy summer meant we had to wait for a crew to be available, it was worth the wait for both jobs. Specific to the gutters, soffit & fascia, the crew were beyond professional. They was patient to explain everything. not only did the office keep in touch, but he did too.
