vacuum cleaner

The service seemed helpful and pleasant but we were disappointed with the operation fo the vacuum cleaner we bought for our new condo. Granted it was not an expensive model ( it is called a Jack) but we have dark laminate floors and the vacuum's filtration is not effective and leaves debris that is visible on the flooring. Perhaps the higher end models they sell perform better.

Company Response

Hi L,
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review! I'm sorry to hear you were unsatisfied with the vacuum you purchased from our store :(. Although in the right circumstances I believe the machine you chose is a pretty impressive little machine within the $50-$150 price range (**for reference this is a Johnny Vac "Jazz" model...but we can call it jack). It's super basic lightweight design, crushproof hose, telescopic wand and full size motor mock many features of the higher end brands for a fraction of the cost. However, when it comes to the more complex features like electrically integrated parts (for using motorized tools) and carefully sealed filtration then unfortunately it gets harder to get away the cheap route and you need to start looking into something built with much better quality control like a Miele.

If your still unsatisfied with your machine I would love for you to give me a call. I hate the idea of you leaving unsatisfied with your experience at our store, so I would be more than happy to go over your issue and come up with a solution! It would be pretty difficult to completely seal a system that hasn't been manufactured to such efficient standards....but maybe we could help you improve the filters somehow or upgrade your machine to something which had more emphasis in filtration standards integrated into the design?

Vacuum cleaner

I recently purchase a couple of Miele vacuums, the most high end for myself and a lesser one for a friend. I chose Miele because of the excellent reputations of their products. I chose Burrard Vacuums because they are in my neighbourhood. I was so pleasantly surprised by the friendly, helpful and excellent service I received by Amin Behbahany. When the time comes for a new vacuum I hope they are still in business and I will highly recommend them to anybody I know.

fix my vacuum

My vacuum was not picking up as it was clogged with items from the floor that were not suppose to go into the vacuum.
I took the vacuum to my local vacuum store, Burrard Vacuum to ask for assistance. The staff there were very interested in my problem and fixed the vacuum for me. I know it took over an hour to unclog the vacuum and yet it was of no charge.
I am grateful for small businesses that go the extra mile for their clients.

Purchasing and Maintenance of a Vacuum

I wanted a very durable and functional vacuum when my old one broke down. I heard that Burrard Vacuums combined good pricing with excellent service, and since I've had trouble with servicing vacuums in the past, I went to check it out. The service was amazing. The people there really cared for me, and have serviced my vaccum (which i bought from them) well, over the last few years. I would highly recommend this company.

Miele vacuum S4

This is a family owned business and the owner took the time to explain the different attachments and model types. He even demonstrated how the vacuum unit was durable by stomping hard on the unit. We decided to buy the S4 special edition that came with extra attachments without the additional costs.

$500.00
