Victor and Simon quickly responded to all my questions and concerns. The job was completed ahead of schedule and there were no extra costs over and above the quoted price. My kitchen looks updated and modern and I’m very happy with the results. A few of my friends are interested in hiring Canlik for their upcoming kitchen projects. Thanks for a great experience!

Take a look at my 80's faux-cherry horror of a kitchen in the "before" pic, lol. The only reason I give 4 stars is because choosing a more service-oriented company sometimes means the cost savings won't be on par with the less attentive companies, and refacing ended up costing a bit more than I had expected. That being said: you get what you pay for, which is why I chose Canlik. The big-box hardware stores have terrible reviews for refacing installs, "we'll paint your existing thermofoil" companies didn't seem like a smart investment, and the 7 other thermofoil refacers in GTA I got quotes from (yes, do your homework boys and girls!) all either had ridiculous pricing, or great pricing but terrible customer service. The owner of the main competitor I was talking to before for Canlik ended up being rude, wore no mask and treated me like questions are an annoyance when I went to their showroom. With this type of job, cost matters, but so do quality and follow-up service if there's any deficiency or you later need a repair. With Canlik, I immediately saw a more professional, patient and thorough approach. Victor in the showroom genuinely took the time to explain options (eg thermofoil, painted wood, laminate) and got my respect when he suggested the most affordable option as the best one for my needs instead of pushing for me to choose the expensive one. He also took the time to pour over swatches with me, understand the look I wanted, try different swatches with my granite sample and discuss all aspects, like room size and how much light is there. He provided a lot of info based on working with designers and what is on trend but also classic. Simon, who handled the install, was just as professional, reliable, helpful and dilligent. My countertops posed a challenge: I wanted the modern, white-and-grey look in design mags... But had to work with a a cream-coloured granite with pink/yellow undertones, and browny-taupe veining. It's called Magnific White granite (or some times Magnificent White), in case you're trying to colour-match a similar counter. I was so nervous wondering how my choice, based on a little sample, would turn out. So when I came home (stayed at family's during my renos) and opened the door, I almost happy-cried when I first saw their finished job. We used a thermofoil shaker door, in the shade Morning Dew by Premoule, and Canlik also supplied the modern, high-end looking handles at a very affordable price. As you can see my backsplash is TBD but I'll do a taupey-grey, although really anything in the neutrals would work. Everyone says the whole kitchen looks larger, and it feels so bright and airy now. For resale value and just sheer enjoyment of my daily living space: worth every penny.

Victor & Simon were a pleasure to deal with. Though they weren't the cheapest quote we received, their professionalism, attention to detail convinced us that they are definitely the vendor we should go with.

On execution, their 30+ years of experience definitely showed. They had productive and practical feedback on how best to get the job done and delivered it to very, very high standards. Simon and Victor genuinely care about the work they do and it really shows through our interactions. Highly recommended!

We used Canlik to install a new kitchen in our older home. We kept that same footprint due to architectural limitations. Victor was able to do an excellent draft plan based on the photos we submitted and then was able to present them to us in a follow up zoom meeting.

Despite the space limitations, Simon was able to make some excellent suggestions on site when he came to measure. These suggestions were a great improvement on our original plan and gave us additional counter and storage space, and improved the overall workflow and look of the kitchen. It is a small space, but Simon was able to innovate some small cabinets and storage shelves to maximize the space. They worked with us to find a way to expand our sink capacity to 1.5 sinks. Simon and the counter installer were also helpful in determining the final look and layout and finish of our counter tops during the onsite visit.

The installers were very efficient and precise. Even though our house is over 100 years old with pretty much no square/plumb corners/surfaces, they had the laser technology that allowed them to fit the cabinets precisely, line them up so they are square with our flooring, and level, etc. The cabinets and drawers seem sturdy and we are happy with the finish.

There was a considerable delay in the door fronts, but that was due to pandemic delays and outside their control.

Simon was exceptionally responsive via email, text and quick in person visits when necessary. He is very kind and patient.

Communication with the entire team has been excellent. Photos show before and after.

My wife and myself are with the work done in remodelling my kitchen.

Not only was the quality and finish of a very high standard but the design was executed to the minutest detail as tabled in your very accurate quote. The whole project was executed with efficient precision by a skilled team who worked very collaboratively with each other and completed the job exactly in the time you had estimated to us. The labour was so efficient that they caused very minimal disruption in noise and dust, while my wife and myself worked in the same room during the day.

Simon was very pleasant to work with and always on time and making sure the work was completed exactly to our satisfaction.

I hired Canlik Kitchens to reface my cabinets and replace my countertop. I am very pleased with the finished product and was impressed by the service and workmanship, including adjustments I requested to under-cabinet lighting and plumbing required for my new appliances. It was a pleasure working with Victor and Simon. I recommend Canlik most highly.

I had my kitchen cupboards - 19 in all - refaced by Canlik in 2015 and was initially delighted with the results - I wrote a glowing review.

But in 2020 - five years later - one of them "bubbled" (the outer layer became detached from the base) and now a year later, six have bubbled. I realize there was no lifetime guarantee, but I fully expected them to last longer than this. It’s unlikely I’ll be able to repair them myself.

I'm disappointed in the quality of this work, particularly in light of the amount of money I spent and the positive reviews Canlik continues to receive.

I would strongly urge Canlik to use better quality material than what they used in my project

We hired Canlik Kitchens to reface and modernize our outdated Kitchen. After interviewing other companies , we knew we found the right company with Canlik. It was a pleasure working with Victor and Simon, as they are very knowledgeable and talented. They offered ideas and suggestions to help us finalize our own decisions. They were true to their word in that the delivered what they promised and with excellent service. When it came to the work, they were clean, and efficient with completing the job over 2 days. They left the house clean and tidy after cleaning up. It was our first time using a Kitchen Refacing company and we would definitely look to working with them again in the future. I have used Canlik Kitchens previously to reface my parents kitchen in time to sell their home. They had done such a fantastic job that when it came time to do my kitchen counter tops in my basement I knew who to call. I didn't check other dealers because I knew I would be guaranteed a smooth and seamless job by Canlik.
