Those vines had certainly outgrown their aesthetic value as they were clogging the evestroughs and pulling them out from the wall. They had stuck and grown into the stucco, causing chunks of it to fall. The Elm tree which had seeded itself close to the house was tall and spindly, causing it to sway wildly in the wind, smashing the eves like a battering ram. It was small enough to be removed without a permit, (less than 12" diameter measured at 4.5 feet from the ground.) The job went very well and we're grateful for the work. What a nice review Barb. The tree is so large it was difficult for sunlight to penetrate the rear yard and the lawn suffered as a result. We elevated the lower branches, thinned out the canopy, removed deadwood, rubbing branches and redundant and duplicate limbs. The end result was the tree retained It's natural form but the thinning out of the crown will allow air and sunlight to filter through the tree more readily. It will allow strong winds to blow through the tree, rather than "at it "
The tree is much safer now. Manitoba Maple trees are considered "soft Maples" and are more prone to wind damage and limb failure than other hardier Maple species. The pruning was proactive and very good for the health of your tree. The tree is large and a focal point for the rear garden. It looks great now. Thank you for putting your confidence in CB Tree.

Well, thanks to you for the work and the kind review.
Squirrels running across the roof day or night can make you nuts. (Lol, Sorry) Happily the tree trimming should prevent them from jumping on, especially if they know they can't get back. Toronto certainly has a lot of squirrels and they can be a menace. I hope the trimming will prevent that for a few years before they grow back. I'm happy you were referred by your neighbors and thankful we could help. The boys especially enjoyed the snacks ans drinks you had left out for them, that was very nice of you and they really appreciated it. Please know that anyone you send our way will be treated well. Thank you very much for the work and the kind review Dr. Williams. The vicious winds from the week before damaged many trees in our area. Luckily, only a few branches from your Pine tree were damaged.
Your next door neighbour had us clean up a few broken branches also. I'm glad we could help.
