Basement, poured concrete seam leak, tie holes

My husband and I contacted Clarke Basement Systems after a healthy home inspection and thousands of dollars were spent trying to rectify the cause of the musty cottage odour of this 30 something house. Our lifesavings invested into what quickly became a money pit when the day we moved in Mar.16/05 the furnace failed. So after a new heating and cooling system & spray in foam insulation expense 2005, brand new roof in 2006 it wasn't until a "healthy home" inspection in 2007 did we realize the basement was in dire need of repair. Quickly and accurately, Chris arrived to quote the job and Jose completed the work 2 weeks later. Jose noticed the tie holes were bad and repaired those at the same time which I knew were needing repair but the major seam was our priority and the tie holes would have to wait. There was no pressure to add on this expense, as Jose was so sincere in his true concern that as a professional, he knew as well these needed to be repaired. I hadn't the heart to ask him to fit in 6 or 7 exposed tie holes when we had only scheduled the seam repair at the time. Jose left behind a great impression of quality service and we greatly appreciate his work. Little may Clarke Basements realize, but we had lost our son 10 weeks after moving into our house to SIDS/SUDS. Our journey of grief has now begun the upward climb and our house has become our home with the help of Clarke Basement Systems.
