Renting from Enercare is a nightmare. Their customer service policy is to trick customers into paying for more services rather than to actually provide any services. On the phone and in person, they are rude and unhelpful. When I finally had enough and decided to return their tank and switch to Reliance, they did everything possible to make things difficult for me. Reliance had my hot water tank but not a cancellation form with my signature on it. I called Enercare and asked if I could email the form and they said No. I asked if I could fax the form and they said No. I asked if I could mail it- Ijust wanted to save the Reliance technician another trip. Again, they said No and that they would not only not accept my tank return, but continue billing me if I didn't send it with this form. Well, they will get their form. But not any more of my business.
