Concept 76 Discount Window And Door Ltd.

After paying over $8,000 it's been over 6 months and only half a damaged ordered arrived. No responses to emails. They seem to be doing this on purpose and will avoid responding to request for their product or refund.

I ordered two custom black sliding doors on October 21 and 28 of 2022. Paid for them in full. Was told expected delivery date was February of 2023. Was content to wait. It is now July 12, 2023. 5 months after the expected delivery date. No doors, no updates, no responses to telephone messages, no responses to emails, no responses to knocks on the door of their office. In fact, it seems the company has chosen to just bury its head in the sand. I have never dealt with a company that treats its paying clients with such disrespect. I have logged every call, have every email. I even threatened that if I did not hear from them I would take to social media and begin legal action. That was about 10 days ago. No response again. Its like this company doesn't care about anyone or anything. I guess when a company has been in business for 45 years as they say, they feel they have a right to disrespect its clients. I hate that I have to waste my time to chase this company down for a meaningful update. The two occasions I did manage to catch someone at the office they provided less than meaningful updates. They promised to get back once they heard from the manufacturer and of course never did. I have referred the matter to one of my lawyers now. They really just sucked the anticipation of the pleasure of this purchase away. I expect that if I do get these sliding doors at this point I will have nothing but issues with them as well. I literally have zero expectations from these people. Word to the wise, stay away from custom orders. May be different if you are just picking up something in their warehouse, can't comment on that but definitely stay away from everything else.

Last Year we finally replaced all of our exterior windows on our old house. The original windows had slide in glass with wood plates all around. Discount windows helped me to find a type of window that would fit into this space. They also suggested the right kind of window for our casement windows and some of the straight to frame windows we would need. The order took three weeks to make (they were all custom sizes) I came to pick them up and they helped me load up my van. The cost of these windows which were the full e glass triple pane was a fraction of what i could find anywhere else.
This year we wanted to replace all of our interior slab doors with more stylish paneled doors and it was no issue as they were all in stock. The prices were so much cheaper and they are good doors. I would recommend them anytime.

STAY AWAY......No, seriously....
I rarely write reviews, and when I do, I chose to recommend those merchants that have offered a positive/exceptional experience, and I stay away from writing negative reviews, especially given the impact that COVID has had on small businesses, however I am making an exception to my own rule because Concept 76/Discount Doors warrants the worst review possible.

I don't even know where to begin, so let me try this: non-existent customer service; 18 week wait with no communication; product not as ordered and when it did finally arrive it was damaged/defective stock.
How was I treated? With a payment machine and told to 'pay up'.
Lucky for me, I was able to - with considerable effort and persistence - get my deposit refunded.

Goodbye and good riddance Concept 76/Discount Doors!

UPDATE: March 21, 2022: The response to my review from Discount Doors/Concept 76 really should not have been a surprise.......after all they have been consistent in their approach (ie: no ownership or accountability; no apology for time/cost wasted; no customer satisfaction, etc.) HOWEVER, the best part is that they have now acknowledged that the doors are damaged and that they will now be repaired and then offered for sale on their site for MORE $ to some other customer. Go figure.........

I had a very good experience with Daniel from Concept76. I asked for a quote for 15 windows and 3 doors, and he came to my location and gave me lots of options to choose from and also gave me a price on the spot, which I liked. He was very kind and knowledgeable and the vibes were just incredible. He was very honest with me regarding timelines because of the major shortages, which I’m well aware of because of my line of work, and he kept updated me and well stayed true. I’m very happy with the installs and product. I highly recommend them for sure.

I ordered some Craftsman style door and the wrong ones came in . They gave me a credit note and said they would refund the money to my CC 3 months later and numerous calls they have not .
This is some of the worst customer service ever experienced and is actually theft.

Our house contractor placed an order with Neil the beginning of Sept for all interior doors. The update he gave us by email on Oct 13 was that they anticipated shipping about Nov 20. We have not been able to get a hold of ANYONE at this facility since Nov 18, there has been NO contact. I've left messsages with Neil and Daniel and even tried calling 0, the reception desk. Their website says there is an order update email in which they will get back to a person with 24 hours. Hahahaha, ya right. We've send COUNTLESS emails, COUNTLESS phone calls, and NOTHING in return. Sure hope they give our contractor his money back! Brutal brutal brutal company to "work" with and give them a ZERO rating. Their lack of follow up and communication is at a zero level. DON'T deal there ever!

I see a lot of mixed reviews on this company. The company is quite delightful to deal with, unless you expect anyone to answer the phone or return your call. I placed a custom order in mid-July with a promise of 5 weeks. Tomorrow it will be 7 weeks. I wouldn't mind so much if they'd have the decency to update the ETA on this, but they refuse. I need to arrange things on my end for installation, but they couldn't care less. I've left countless messages and even caught up with Neil who promised to check into it and get back to me. He hasn't despite several follow up calls. I don't know whether I'll ever see this order. If they can't answer a basic customer service question, I've got big concerns. Maybe I'll have to go elsewhere to get this done. Suggest staying away from this company unless you're prepared to wait until they're ready to deal with you.

I called Concept76 in regards to interior Shaker doors for my newly renovated house, to see what they provide and prices. Daniel was very helpful with all my questions and he made it a very nice experience. They had most of the sizes that I needed in stock and only had to wait 5 days for the other ones to come in. I did ask for delivery which they provided right on time. It was an overall great experience and I would highly recommended them.

This is the second time that I have replaced all of the window glass in a house that I have lived in and I was even more impressed this time if that is even possible. The positive experience starts with the excellent service that you receive. They are there to answer all of your questions and make sure that they understand your expectations and budget. Next come the fast delivery and efficient installation. This last job required replacing window glass throughout the house in December. Job was completed with very little disruption to my family. Lastly, the quality of product is outstanding. The difference was noticeable literally minutes after the new glass was installed. I have also converted regular builder front doors into elegant entry doors will full length glass. I will continue to recommend this company and of course use them for all my glass replacement and entry door needs.
