Drain Works Plumbing

We had a longterm problem with our bathroom sink and toilet finally solved. Lou and Eric were fast, efficient and friendly and nice to get our problems solved without any hassel. Excellant work guys! Thanks for the extra tips.

We called DrainWorks, and Jeremy Harris arrived within the hour. He examined our backed up basement drain, then explained his preliminary assessment, and what he would do to further assess the problem and try to fix it. He explained it could be a one- or two-phase process, and the cost of each possibility. -

Jeremy used his scope to examine our pipes both inside and downstream from our house. He invited us out and showed us what he was seeing in his scope (roots penetrating clay pipe). Because this potentially affected our neighbour, we invited our neighbour out to meet Jeremy, who then took us again through the "tour" of the outside pipes, and helped us be clear about what we were seeing. -

Then, and later while we were taking care of payment, Jeremy gave us helpful advice on dealing with the City (it's their clay pipe) about what to do with the wet carpet in the basement and insurance issues. -

Jeremy was pleasant and helpful the work was not complex, but we were confident with what he'd done and he was generous with his advice and time. We would gladly use his services again.

There was a minor flooding in my basement after a big rainstorm. Two inspectors (Mike Dunn and Eric Fralic) from DrainWorks arrived at my house almost immediately after the call, and managed to locate the source of leak in no time. Accidentlly they found a dead raccoon under the hedge. It was so kind of them to offer to help me take care of the digging and burial of the decomposing carcass. I would not have survived the smell of it! The digging of the 10 foot "trench" began the next day. The three Eastern European workmen (headed by Mischa) were very quietly efficient. By the end of the next day, the affected back wall was officially waterproven, with everything (hedges, soil, patio bricks) back to its place without the slightest hint of a mess. The only sign that will give away two days of hard labour is the drooped leaves all over the back wall from an old climbing ivy. The roots probably have not survived the shock. But that's about the only casualty one can see. A few days later, Mke and Eric came back for a follow-up. Since the loose soil will take a few weeks to settle down, some of the patio bricks are destined to sink down a bit. Mike promised to send his guys in one month to put some top soil underneath the bricks to even things out. Excellent job thus far! Most highly recommended.

As a homeowner, nothing is more devastating as a basement flood. After a major rainstorm on June 19/07 I had a major flood with water coming up both basement drains. I called Drainworks, after reading about their Consumer Choice awards, and was told that someone would be there is 45 mins.
Jeremey H arrived in under 45 minutes and I was immediately impressed by his pleasant, professionalism. He was able to relieve the clog and made a recommendation of work that should be done. It was reasonably priced, and I did not feel that I was being taken advantage of. The crew that arrived the next day, was on time, (actually early), cleanly dressed (nothing is more off putting than service people in clothes that don't look like they have ever been washed) and set to work. They worked unbelieveably hard and finished in a reasonable time and left my driveway immaculate. Jeremy returned, checked everything, putting my mind totally at ease. I will be recommending Drainworks to all my friends.

We had received a quote to do extensive work from another company that had put a camera down our drains. This company had told us we needed to replace the old clay pipe under our house.
We called Drain works for a second opinion and a technician named Jeremy came to our home and showed me on the camera that our pipes were old but in good condition. He indicated that they would last another 10 to 15 years. By calling in Drainworks we saved thousands of dollars in unecessary repairs.

Armando and his crew did an excellent job when they repaired and replaced our sewage drain. Actually when the back-up occurred Sunday June 3, Matthew was there within the hour and opened up the drain sufficiently to release the backed-up sewage from the basement. Even though the damage was done, it was gratifying that the length of time we were in that state was minimized by their quick action.

The subsequent repair was done in a most professional manner and we were apprised all the way along as to what the problem(s)was and the required fix. At no time did I feel pressured or misled on any aspect of the job which is really important because it does build trust. The clean-up and final inspection were exemplary. In fact the company that has been doing the interior clean-up for us remarked on the great job that was done and asked what firm had done the work. I was more than happy to make this referral and I was told they will definitely consider using DrainWorks in the future.

Armando and his team including Adrian and Eugene were extremely professional and respectful. They not only showed us all the problems with our drain using a camera inspection, but explained every issue and gave us several options regarding the work and ways to complete it. Armando gave us an option which prevented us having to tear up a floor in our newly completed rec room in the basement, saving us money and inconvenience. Tarps were laid down and every care was taken not to make a mess or leave foot tracks through our house. They always arrived on time and even early, and Armando had extra crew on a Saturday to complete the job as quickly as possible. The crew even took care when digging a hole at the front of my house to keep the plants from the garden, even though I had said it was okay to get rid of them. A final inspection was also timely and efficient, and demonstrated what an overall great job had been done. I would highly reccommend Drainworks to anyone needing this type of service,
you will not be disappointed.

We had a tough kitchen clog that liquid drano couldn't fix. Calling a plumbing company was my last resort, but I'm glad I found DrainWorks. They came the same day I called (a Sunday). It was a challenging job, but Jeremy took care of it. He was professional, friendly, explained everything he was doing, and the price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Jeremy was prompt, polite, and even wore shoe covers while in our home. We are most satisfied and would not hesitate to call DrainWorks at any time in the future.
