Their services are top notch and they handle your stuff very well . Their services justifies their charges . The moving was very smooth without any delays and damages . One thing I want to mention is that you should contact them one day before moving to remind and confirm with them .

Dave and his crew really helped our move from a condo into a family home. The movers arrived ready and prepared to wrap our furniture and despite the long walk to the truck, completed the loading with great efficiency. The furniture arrived at our new place in great condition and the movers were helpful in ensuring the pieces were in their correct location.

myself and my girlfriend hired emerald moving on the recommendation of a good friend. We were moving our entire 1 bedroom apartment minus a couch and bed to waterloo. we contacted them about a week and a half before we needed to move which was not the best move on our part as we should have given ourselves more time. Dave (the owner) let me know that waterloo was outside their normal area when doing a move but he said he would try and arrange something. We supplied him with a full list of the stuff we would need to be moved and he made arrangements for us in such short notice. Dave himself arrived on the day with a cube truck and carried out the move. He was extremely professional, very pleasant and very honest. He took everything that needed to put into the truck and did so quite quickly and took very special care while doing so. the level of service was above and beyond what I expected out of any moving company. Even though his company did not typically do a move to the region of waterloo he still obliged in such short notice. upon arrival to waterloo he unloaded the items and furniture from the apartment and again was extremely helpful, pleasant and timely. I would recommend using Emerald moving to absolutely anyone and everyone as they are by far the best moving service I have used and the price paid is a great return on quality service. If I ever have to move again I will not hesitate to use emerald moving.

Hired Dave McClean to move a large piece of modular furniture that was purchased on Craigslist to be disassmebled, moved and reassembled. This man is a true professional. He was true to his word, followed through with what was promised and created relatively little stress.

Dave seems like a nice honest man to do business with who enjoys what he does and is very good at it.

I contacted Emerald Moving after reading reviews on Homestars. I had never used a moving company before and was hoping I could find one that would reassure me that the move would go well. Dave answered all my questions and left me feeling confident that the job would be done with no concerns. He gave me some good advice on packing, and asked me details on the move. Dave and Mike arrived on time, and did a super job loading the truck ( they deserve a truck packing award!) Everything fit perfectly! They even did a great job moving the large furniture through a tight laneway. Great job guys! I had no worries throughout the entire move and would recommend them highly! This was our third move in three years and we will not hesitate to use Emerald again. When we booked the appointment we also took advantage of their packing service (which every one should seriously spend the little extra to have done) and the day before the move David, the owner came out to the condo and packed every little thing we owned. I think if we had left the cats in the place he may have packed them as well. The move the following day went so smooth and organized I honestly didn't know what to do with myself. All three guys were super efficient, friendly and professional. Just the effort they put in to getting a huge treadmill down a small staircase blew me away. In previous moves we have had people who were unfriendly and somewhat incompetent but David was such a great guy to talk and joke with he made the whole experience a blast. My only concern that whole day was whether he would take my fiancee Tim from me. :)

I called Emerald Moving to get information about a move of my contents from Montreal to Toronto. The gentleman that answered politely told me that they generally service the Toronto area and do not do runs from Montreal to Toronto. However, he impressed me by taking the time to guide me on what I should think about in selecting a mover and what options I should consider. It was a very honest and transparent conversation that I appreciated (enough to write a review on Homestars.) It made me feel as if he was looking out for the customer.

Great service. Professional. Would highly reccomend and use them again. Wendy was extremely helpful. Cost of boxes was less than everywhere else. Movers were on time and accommodated all of our special requests.

I'll start by saying I would use Emerald again in a minute! I was so impressed and so happy I chose them. I worried up until the day of the move if i had made the right choice, even though I read all the reviews. The guys were so careful with everything. They were polite, worked steadily, and just made me feel confident having them move my stuff. Of my whole moving experience - from packing to unpacking - move day was the least stressful.
