Fine Design Living Inc. No Longer In Business

Our experience with Braden and his crew was excellent. Braden is polite, respectful and professional. He provided a detailed quote broken into several possible options. Braden stuck to this quote, even when it took an additional two full days for his team to remove our old concrete and rebar retaining wall. His team worked tirelessly in the full sun and heat and at all times were polite and professional. Our location is extremely busy with pedestrian traffic as well as vehicle traffic and his three young men were always courteous and good natured. The quality of their workmanship was excellent. I have no complaints or concerns at all. I have no hesitation in whole-heartedly recommending Braden and Fine Design.

In 2013, Braden and his crew completed our front yard landscaping. This included our driveway and front path, planters, and step lamination. We were thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and responsiveness to our concerns. We had no major issues. In fact, we were impressed enough to hire Braden and his crew to complete our backyard in 2014. We had an outdoor kitchen, patio area, pergola (for a sitting area) and tree planting done. We again were very impressed by how clean they left the work area every evening and how responsive Braden was to any of our concerns. Also, his design choices and his eye for detail are wonderful.

The quality of the work was great. They were very professional (clean and punctual). The price is reasonable, given the quality of the work, but is not cheap. In other words, if you want quality work done, hire Braden - if you want a cheap price, hire someone else.

We had Braden start with a major landscpe project that included both the front and back. He was oustanding - he domonstarted a high degree of integrity, produced high-end,quality work and a strong attention to detail. His team was always punctual and were very responsive when there were issues. We were so impressed with his work and work ethic on our landscaping project that we engaged him and his other team to do another project that included a full basement renovation. Once again, he produced a great design with outstanding quality work, attention to detail and responsiveness to issues and challenges. We couldn't be happier with both projects. I highly reccomend Braden/Fine Design for any landscaping or home renovation project as you can trust that he will put your interests and satisfaction first. He is first rate!

We could not be more thrilled with the results of our closet renovation, which combined 3 small existing closets and the moving of an entire wall, as well as the addition of electrical. The project was on time, on budget, and immense care was taken of our home and personal belongings during the project. The finishing details are second to none - the matching of our existing trim and flooring, etc. It is now the nicest room in our house! We will absolutely work with Fine Design again, and would recommend them for any home project you may have. Braden and his team were incredibly professional and helpful throughout the process. Braden transformed our front yard from a dull, uninteresting space into a head-turning landscape that has impressed both our neighbours and passersby who slow to gawk at our new and exciting curb appeal. From the creative design to the quotation to the completion of the project, Braden’s company exceeded all our expectations.

Braden spent hours examining the space and conferencing with us to provide creative design advice as well as practical information about possibilities for our front yard. He worked tirelessly with us to ensure that our dream landscape could be achieved within a tight budget. He helped us save costs with creative solutions that still gave us the incredible curb appeal we envisioned for our home.

The quotation process was clear, organized and open to many revisions and tweaks that achieved our goal, all within a reasonable budget. Braden worked many hours thinking about our project and spent many more speaking with us in his easygoing, professional manner.

Fine Design Living constructed our front yard on time, efficiently, and on-budget respecting both our property and the property of our neighbours. Braden worked as the foreman for a well-organized, respectful, and tidy crew of hard working landscapers. Braden enhanced our front entrance by finding the perfect stones and steps, even at his own cost. Braden’s primary goal was to ensure our front yard met his own exacting standards, even if it cost him some profit off the top. He truly over-delivered on all his promises.

Overall, I can’t recommend Braden’s company Fine Design Living enough. I have referred him to friends and neighbours and I will continue to do so in the future. Braden is truly one of the “good guys” in his industry and I thank him for his terrific service, his creative vision, and his execution of our project. I think of him and his remarkable company every time another person stops to compliment us about our property.

This was the last of my home renovation projects and I definitely saved the best for last. After struggling through numerous contractors with our interior renovations we became very sceptical customers. We decided that at the end of the day you get what you pay for and we were going to finish our house off with a top end landscape company from Toronto with a great reputation. We were close to hiring one of these companies and I decided to bring in Fine Design for 1 last quote given the good reviews on homestars and the quality of work shown on their website. Braden was very professional, answered all of our questions promptly, quickly turned a very detailed quote and provided us with a lot of resources which allowed us to envision the final product. We decided to go with Fine Design and we have absolutely no regrets.

Braden kept on top of the project unlike anyone else we have dealt with. If we ever had a concern he would get back to us incredibly fast. He also had great design suggestions along the way and we are 150% satisfied with the final product. This was not a small project and we are somewhat picky clients. The entire front yeard was landscaped, side yard and backyard. We had the driveway redone, the garage floor redone, all the stonework, planting, a 1000 sq ft deck, pergola, firepit, privacy fence, it goes on and on.

Bottom line, if you want your landscaping done right and have incredible service levels long the way we would highly recommend Fine Design.

I recently had Fine Design do my double car driveway with interlocking brick with a border as well as my sidewalk to the porch. I had a planter done running the length of my porch as well as the porch covered in stone slabs. The work was outstanding and crew that he has working for him are professional knowledgeable and take great care in the work that they do. I was extremely happy with the entire project. Everything that was done exceeded my expectations and they knew what I wanted and went above and beyond to provide same. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks again for the great job I am beyond happy with same.

Braden and Nick were an absolute pleasure to do business with. Braden took his time to go over the details of our lighting plan. He spent considerable time sourcing custom options for our needs. Nick is the electrician who performed the work with the rest of Bradens team and their work was first rate. If I ever had any concerns Braden was easy to contact and very receptive to solve any issues. I highly recommend Braden and his team and look forward to doing business with them again in the future.

I rarely write a review, nor do i give out 10's. I coulddnpt be any happier with Braden and his crew. I gave him a budget, a time frame, and he took care of the rest. I never seen a more professional crew working together. No foul language, no vulgar behaviour. we worked with Braden with the design, he had alot of fantastic ideas, i'm glad i used homestars to find him !!! GREAT JOB GUYS !!

The experience of using Fine Design Interlocking for our new project was top class from start to finish. Braden and his team were so professional, accommodating, friendly and delivered the results we were looking for in the time frame we had asked for. Braden stayed in constant communication with us by email, so we knew what was happening every step of the renovation.
