Various repairwork in apartment
It's hard to find a handyman in Vancouver that will even return your call but Handyman Connection called back promptly and scheduled the appointment. The handyman they sent could have been more organized in how he planned his work - he came unprepared with the tools he needed for the jobs and even though he scoped out the work during his initial estimate visit, he didn't know which job to start.
He did say he didn't paint often - I had to check and re-check his work and tell him where fixes needed to be made (e.g. paint drips, didn't remove light switch plates first, didn't tape) and was disappointed to find paint slaps on my carpet.
He replaced my damaged baseboards in my bathroom and powerwashed my patio but I had to supply the powerwasher.
The jobs ultimately got done and the handyman was a nice person. I would try Handyman Connection again but ask for more references first of the handyman they send.
