I found the man to be very honest,helpful and very quick. I thought I needed a new toilet and he just repaired the inside of the tank. I am very impressed and will call this company for anything else I will need to be looked after.

I moved into a new house and needed to tie up loose ends - put up curtain rods, pictures, and closet organizers. I also needed light fixtures put up in rooms that did not have the existing fixtures. Called Handyman Connection. Got my quote within 1 day and service the next day. After experience with unreliable local handymen who said they would come tomorrow and didn't - these timelines and efficiency was appreciated.

I called the Handyman connection because they have lower prices to fix minor projects. I knew I had to replace my bathroom faucet so I bought a new one at Rona Lansing.
Called Handyman Connection and made an appointment. Received a call the day he was to come and he said that he was having car problems and had to come another day. Called the office back and made another appointment.
A man finally came and he was quite efficient in getting the bathroom faucet replaced and working fine. It has not leaked since then so he did a good job. Also, looked at my kitchen faucet and replaced the washers so it would not drip. They have fairly standard rates for projects and he charged me for only the bathroom faucet replacement. Their rates are reasonable and he was efficient in doing it. They seem to use retired people so you get an experienced person. They also do it as side work so they probably work for less than the normal rates. I was put off by the original failure to show but they seemed to follow through.
I would recommend it for more minor projects. I think it is better than going through the handyman through the papers and the big plumbing companies are very experience for smaller projects.

The plumber assessed the problem fairly quickly and suggested a solution (more expensive than the original quote) but then didn't have the necessary pipe with him. I ran out to Canadian Tire to buy the pipe while he juggled his other committment to be able to finish the job that evening - we had no water otherwise. Five hours later, the proposed solution was executed and worked, with only a millimeter or two to spare. Overall the plumber was very knowledgable and helpful. The result is great but ended up being very expensive.

This is the second time I have used Handyman Connection and Scott Elder in particular. He is true craftsman. I would recommend Handyman Connection and Scott in particular if you want a repairman that will go the extra mile to make sure the job is done perfectly.

The Handyman Connection came to put handles on my kitchen cabinets, install an outside planter on concrete wall. Install 4 ceiling fans. They were clean, quick and got a ton of fixer ups done in 1/2 a day.

Every time I need something asembled or something repaired, I call the Handyman Connection since I know it will be done in a timely and professional manner and I also know it is guaranteed.
