Hanks came to repair my washing machine and completed correctly in a timely manner. Had an issue with the invoice but a manager called me and rectified the issue.

Worst experience as the technician came onsite didn't know how to fix the issue. He charged me the money and simply said no issues with the machine and no action required to service the drum. Even I asked him to check inside the drum, he simply checked from backside and said everything is fine with the machine. Finally i got help from someone else who is professional from a different company and fixed the problem .
I will not recommend Hanks service to anyone here in GTA.

I have a Samsung Refrigerator that has stopped cooling. I called an appliance repair professional to come to my home to diagnose the issue. They provided me with a full report stating that it was a faulty compressor. They advised me that Samsung has a 10 year warranty on the compressor and that i should to through Samsung for repair. After providing all the information to Samsung, they created a service ticket with Hank's Appliance Repair. After receiving an email and text from Hank's, it was very difficult for me to get any answers or updates from them. they said they prefer text communications however it was days between their responses. I called their phone numbers an no one would ever answer live. They finally decided to come over a week later with nothing more that a text message 20 mins before they arrived, good thing i was available. When onsite, the technician was only trying to discredit what the previous technician had diagnosed, stating that it was an internal leak however it would cost another $282 just for him to find where the leak is and maybe another $800 - $1000 to fix. Based on all the research i've already done it was clear to me this was just a money grab. Since the compressor is under warranty by Samsung i asked if he would order me the part and i can have it installed on my own. He stated no, and they he would have to install the part and would charge me an additional $450 for labour plus additional cost for other parts needed as well, far more than the part it self cost. Stay away from Hank's Appliances.

Sidney was very professional and thorough with his work. He took the time to properly diagnose the problem. I would recommend him as he is focussed and dedicated to providing great service.

Service was fast and efficient from the first call to set up an appointment to the actual visit. The the technician was knowledgable and professional.

Warranty issues with the manufacturer of our wash machine, but Hanks was a pro and helped sort it out. Service was efficient and professional.

Quick and professional service on a dishwasher and a microwave. The office got the parts for me in no time and the technician was very efficient and knowledgeable.

Made an appointment to get my Samsung Fridge looked at due to ice and water buildup under the crispers. Explained the issue over the phone and included the serial number of the appliance. Made the appointment on the phone and got a confirmation call the day before (that's what the star is for). Showed up during the time frame of appointment (other star) and that was about it. In and out in 10 minutes, didn't look in the fridge, explained what could be done, cost $530 to fix it. No guarantee, no warranty and only 40% chance to fix the actual problem. Mentioned the model was defective.

Passed on that offer and will be getting a new fridge. Biggest issue is that this could all have been relayed over the phone without an actual visit. Paying $100+tax for someone to be in my home for 10 minutes and providing details that he didn't need to be in person for just doesn't sit right with me.

Might want to look elsewhere for appliance needs or try to ask questions over the phone to avoid a visit.
