Hoerner came over quickly after our water was shut down. They took their time doing an exhaustive diagnosis leaving no questions unanswered and then repaired this issue improving the design as they did

This review is a couple years late but we're still dealing with the poor workmanship so I'm finally getting around to writing this.

We hired Hoerner to install a dishwasher. It involved running new tubing to the water pipes in what should've been a routine procedure.

We didn't notice until a few months later but the tubing was positioned in such a way that a bend had started to form in it preventing the water from draining. Much like if you bend a garden hose to stop the flow of water. We were able to straighten it out a bit and didn't have any more problems for another few months. Every once in a while we'd have to go down and straighten it as best we could.

As is life, we just never got around to contacting Hoerner within the warranty period. I did call to see if they'd perhaps stand behind their work even after the warranty period but I never received a call back so I took that as a 'no'.

Now we have to replace the tubing and try to install it properly as it's kinked so much that we are now unable to straighten it out.

I called Hoerner to take care of a dripping shower (one of those Moen cartridge jobs). I'd tried to replace the cartridge myself, but when it proved resistant I decided it was best to call a pro rather than break something. Well the guys from Hoerner turned up on time, were very polite and respectful, did an ace job and were also quite willing to tackle a couple of other minor things on the spot. No question I will use them again.

We had a basement sewage back-up, Hoerner's were recommended to us to do emergency repair work. They quoted a price over the phone and stuck to it, despite the fact that the work ended up being more involved, and took them over three hours to do. Their advice was accurate and honest, the work was well done and they cleaned up after themselves.

Hoerner plumbing has done several jobs for me over the years but last year they installed a new mid efficiency boiler gas furnace for me. I have always found their prices to be in line or a bit less expensive than others, and this job was no different with their quote a bit lower than others.They arrived on schedule, did the work quickly but carefully, did not leave until they were sure everything was running properly and cleaned up afterwards. Billing was exactly as quoted with a few minor things thrown in for free. In fact, they sent me a Christmas card afterwards with a $5 Tim card. Andrew, the owner, and his staff are always friendly and pleasant, happy to explain the work. There was a minor follow up issue this year which they correctly quickly and promptly with no extra charges.

My husband and I needed 2 pedestal sinks in our new home replaced with sinks with vanities (needed the storage!) and had another company give us a quote first which was huge! Hoerner was suggested to us by a colleague and they came in, quoted us one quarter (25%!!) of the price and did a great job! They were quick to respond and on time. They left the place clean and took the old sinks with them. We would recommend them again (and have already had them back as our toilet kept running.)

The receptionist did her best to meet our needs given a plumbing emergency. The gentlemen who arrived at my home quickly understood the problem and fixed it. They were courteous and friendly. The work was done quickly and I wasn't put into a position of fear to fix anything other than what had to be done.

Hoerner did an excellent job replacing our old hot water boiler. They completed the work as quoted and on time. Andrew Hoerner was very pleasant to deal with. Top notch job!

Service was efficient and professional. Hoerner's worked hard to get a new boiler installed quickly at a busy time of the year, when I had no heat, and was quick to fix any problems I had after installation.
