IKEA Canada - Coquitlam

Being first time homeowners, and at the same time having very expensive designer taste, I have found that IKEA was the best fit for our needs. Style savvy furniture, that really is no worse quality than what you find at most stores these days. They stand behind their products and it's always such a fun and inspiring shopping experience to visit their showrooms.

At IKEA the sales staff was kind of aloof they were nowhere to be found. I needed help finding the fixture but instead I had to locate it myself. When I go IKEA, I usually find the experience pleasant so I would definitely come back again but I truly wish there was more staff on hand.

When I walk in IKEA I know that it will take a lot of time. The staff is friendly and helpful. The decor makes the environment pleasant and the also offer food at the cafeteria. It's good place to bring children and family. And my favorite thing to buy there is the masssive selection of accessories.

The sales staff were very helpful and they hekped to conceive the design for my kitchen. They have an online service to help with this process. They were 3-4 times cheaper for the material in comparison to the competitors. Overall I was pleased with the materials/supplies but I would surely go there again.

The customer service at IKEA was no good because there was no one available to answer your questions. We ended up circling around until we found the bed section. The quality of the children's bed was good and the pricing was fair and competitive. Overall we would surely go back to IKEA and use their products again!

The Ikea sales staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend them to friends and family because they were not pushy when selling us our kitchen products. Overall the experience is one I'd pleasant and I'd come back again.

The cabinets we purchased at IKEA are flimsey and they bang really loudly when you shut them. And they are not able to withstand the abuse of my two years old twins. They are warping already and we are hoping we can still sell our house without having to replace them. Overall it's best to stay away from the cabinets from IKEA.

The delivery service at Ikea needs improvement. I ordered a few items including a special lamp but it came broken up. They guarunteed to bring by another lamp the next day. I waited for several days and heard nothing from the customer service department. Finally it was resolved but it took way too much time!!

I purchased a PAX wardrobe from Ikea and paid for delivery as it is a large piece of furniture. Ikea contracts out a delivery company, when my wardrobe was delivered the delivery men ped it on one corner and then left. When I opened the package one corner was crushed. I called Ikea and a couple of days later came to replace it using the same delivery company. They again ped the second wardrobe and the corner was crushed again. By that time the Ikea customer service refunded my delivery fee and used a different delivery company for my third wardrobe to be delivered. Finally the third one was delivered unharmed.

Take desk top back. None in stock. Call next a.m. Now have in stock. Go there to exchange and they tell me they have none in stock- mistake is talking to too many people that have different stories.
