Seay mattress

We purchased 4 matresses, 65 inch tv, very expensive matress protector and frames from leons steeles. After 3 months our sealy king sized matress is sinking. They are suppose to have 10 years warranty. Inspector came and concluded that its only sinking for 1 inch and its has to be 1.5 inches for them to exchange. I have spent so much on massage therapy due to back pains on top of the around 1 k i spent on this sealy mattress and god knows until when will i suffer until they will exchange for me. Dont buy sealy matress 2 k...not a good one..if you can avoid leons please do..

Online order

Ordered online and then was told before delivery I need to come to the store to give them imprint of my credit card. What's the purpose of online delivery if you have to go to the store anyway? Asked if they could take imprint when they come to deliver and was told no. Makes absolutely no sense.

Company Response

Hi Shelley, Imprints are asked on certain orders which do not pass the verification process. This is done to ensure that the credit card has not been misused for fraud. This is also mentioned in the confirmation email sent to you upon placing the order. Thank you

don't go there

Bought all my appliances from the Whitby location. Fridge, Stove, dishwasher, microwave . On the way out I grabbed a couple mirrors for about a hundred bucks. Mirrors didn't fit the space I had . They wouldn't return them even after I mentioned that I had just spent 5 grand.

Pathetic company

They will promise you to meet god himself if you pay for it, but if you want to cancel for any reason you have to chase them, call them, beg them to get your money back. "Just put a deposit" "It's refundable" just to make the "sale:, if you want to cancel "Manager has to authorize" "We can do limited refunds per day" just so you'll forget about it and move on. Worst of the worst, stay away.

Furniture (Stay away from them. Low quality highly priced)

I bought one triplr, one double and one single couch from leon's in total cost 2500 canadian dollars. The nano technology that they are charging as extra protection is not working at all, they are fake...and the triple couch broke after 11 months of use and they never called me back even though i called customer service 10 times. Poor quality. Salesperson untrustworthy!

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT SUPPLIED

I bought a sofa set from Leon's on April 01, 2017. At the time of delivery, I found a cut on the leather. The delivery people asked me call the Leon's support, so I did that. Leon's support told me that they would send an inspector to look into the defect. After the inspector confirmed the defect, they told me that they would replace the cushion and it will take 10-12 weeks. I am a nice guy, so I said ok. That was my mistake. After 10 weeks, when I phoned them, the lady rudely told me not to phone again, they would call me once they receive parts. After 14 weeks, I again phoned them, they told me that parts have lost (coming from China) and they didn't have any ETA. I asked them to replace the sofa with a new one. They replied that they didn't have any in their warehouse, probably they would arrange from one of their distributor.
I filed a claimed with my credit card company. Leon's sent a copy of replacement order to credit card company, which they forwarded to me to close the case. The replacement order is saying the expected date of delivery is 12/06/2049.
Today is Aug 08, 2017, until now Leon's hasn't replaced or repaired the defective piece they sold to me, neither they have provided any ETA.
If you are reading this review, please put yourself in my shoes and think how would you have felt if that had happened to you. In fact, Leon’s has no business ethics and no respect for their customers.

Unreliable. Dishonest. Terrible Customer Service.

The sales rep took advantage of my parents' inability to communicate fluently in English, and had added on items to their bill claiming it was because of their "draw." They were charged for the item, over $100. This basically voided the discount they were promised due to the promo weekend. My parents would not have been interested in that appliance if it weren't for the discount attached due to the promo. Now, they just bought pillows they did not want nor need. (They bought a range btw, so the pillows were completely irrelevant)

Approaching customer service was a disaster. Worst attitude I have ever seen from a 'customer service' rep. I've never been cut off and told to "look, call back if you want a gift certificate/credit," but alas, they have done that, followed by cutting off the line.

No, I was not asking for a gift certificate. I want a non-faulty product that my mom would not be afraid to use.

King size mattress too small for bed frame

I need everyone to read this and share because I don't know how else to spread the word that Leon's Furniture is unreliable, sell unsafe furniture and do not care about their customers whatsoever.

My parents purchased a King Size bedroom set, that my husband and I picked out, from Leon's furniture at
301 Britannia Road East in Mississauga

back in May as our wedding gift. They spent roughly $6000 on it.

We were so happy with the showroom set (Queen Size) on display and thought it looked great.

We got the bedroom set and everything came in boxes assembled, except for the bed which we had to put together. We did so, and to our surprise it had a very large gap between the mattress and the headboard/footboard. The bed is also very tall, I'm 5'8" and have to climb up into it. It's the height of almost to my hip.

The mattress would move up and down during the night so my husband decided to wedge one of the styrofoam pieces that came with the furniture (about 5 inches wide) to prevent the mattress from sliding around. If that piece isn't there, all of the pillows would fall into the gap at the headboard. Actually, if I sat at the headboard so would the half of my body.

Our king size mattress is 78" and the rails are 80". The gap on my bed in the first pictures is about 5 inches wide like I said.

Leon's sent a technician to my home yesterday who said that he will let Leon's know that I would like the rails custom made (shortened) to fit the mattress.

Leon's called me to tell me that the technician sent them pictures and said there is nothing wrong with the bed!
They refuse to take it back because "there is nothing wrong with it" and that they will not do anything for us. If I wanted to send it back "I would have to pay a restocking fee".
They will not replace it with any other bed that's safer. They say that I feel that it's not safe and "that's what I feel but it's not accurate".
She made it clear that our unhappiness with the product they sold me was not important to Leon's.

The manager I spoke with didn't want to tell me who the owner was, or any other information. She said that if I send an email it will just get sent to the store. I'm assuming that nobody would reply because I've sent many emails and nobody replies. She told me that the store manager's name is Gigi.

I'm sure that there is someone out there with the same problem. All of the beds I've ever had in my life fit nicely into a bed frame, this I've never seen in my life and would've never purchased had I known.

The picture below with the blue pillow is from the showroom
