The heat exchanger in our 27 year old furnace cracked so it was time for a replacement. We decided to replace the air conditioner at the same time since it was over 25 years old so it made sense to do both at the same time. Michael came out the same day that we called him and provided quotes for a few options within a couple of hours. He was very knowledgeable about the products, the quotes were very reasonable and he was quick to respond to our emails. We confirmed we wanted to go ahead on a Friday and his crew were at our house Monday morning to install the furnace and A/C. The installers were very friendly and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the day. We are really happy that we chose McKinnon for the job.

Mckinnon has been looking after our heating and AC needs for several years. We have replaced old systems with much more reliable and efficient hot water and heating as well as AC products. Recently, I had the pleasure of using McKinnon for a tankless water heater installation in my home. So happy I called these guys.

The owner, Michael, arrived within an hour to provide a quote and his advice regarding our intricate setup which involved radiant floor heating. Out of the seven top-rated companies I considered, none matched the depth of knowledge Michael was able to provide - he's truly an expert in his field.

Later that same night, Michael sent over a quote which outlined several options and was generally more reasonable than his competitors.

The installation process began the following morning. The McKinnon team, made up of three to four hardworking individuals, was both friendly and professional. They worked diligently all day to complete what I came to understand was a significant task. Their workmanship on the installation was flawless, they disposed of the old water tank, and left the work area clean. To top it off, they took the time to clearly explain how to use the new system.

I was equally impressed with their after-service care. When I called Michael about a minor issue, which ultimately turned out to be unrelated to the installation, he sent a technician within a day to check it out. After inspection, they discovered an issue with a shower cartridge and provided advice on the necessary steps to resolve it.

Overall, I have nothing but high praise for McKinnon's services. Their blend of expertise, value, and efficiency is impressive and I wouldn't hesitate to utilize their services again. I confidently recommend them based on my personal experience.

Our hot water tank was due to be replaced and instead of continuing with a rental, I decided to purchase a new one with the help of Michael. He answered all my questions and concerns regarding the different model types that were available. Once scheduled, the crew came in and quickly removed the existing hot water tank and installed the new one. They promptly brought to my attention any questions/updates they had during the installation. They wanted to make sure what options I had in order to make a properly informed decision. I needed my air handler replaced in a very tight space. After consulting a few other companies with very poor service, I contact McKinnon. Despite calling and leaving my information on a Saturday afternoon, Michael, the companies president, returned my call within a short time. He was able to provide a quotation for the work from a few photos and after quoting me a price that was much more reasonable than the other companies I called, I promptly gave Michael the go ahead. My water tank stopped working on new year's eve. Mckinnon technician came in the next day to assess the situation. We ended up replacing the old boiler which was no longer manufactured, and the tank with a combo unit.
